It was ok. Massage chair no. 2 was broken, they didn’t do anything about it. They don’t understand English or speak that well English. First customer to walk in but it seemed like my manicurist was in a rush. Nails didn’t turn out that good, I’ve had better and even paid less. Lady in the front is very nice and friendly. Always gives you a smile.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I went here today to get acrylics done and they did turn out very cute, however there were a couple downsides that I felt the need to share. The worst part of my experience here was when my acrylics were being applied there was no air circulation at all, I can only imagine the damage it must have done to my lungs. I wasn’t really greeted as I walked in, the nail tech didn’t wash his hands between helping another patron and myself and the ultimately I feel I could have gotten the same job done for a little less and with someone more friendly. As I mentioned the job done was cute and Jason was meticulous when applying the acrylics, but I’m just not sold on this place.

This salon is very clean and organized. The health care for nails is top notch due to sanitary and skilled techniques. I have been to many places for a mani/pedi but am always so happy to be back at Tip Toe Nails.

It was my first(and last) experience at this nail salon. Small and very basic. No television, music, magazines or water. I would suggest bringing a book or close your eyes and just fall asleep as it can get boring and awkward. Pedicure was impersonal and rushed. Also, the polish is already chipping after a week and they don’t offer paraffin wax. I have definitely seen better and my toe polish has always lasted for at least a month when done at every other salon. Overall, you are better off doing your own nails than coming here. Save your money!

This review is for Nancy! She definitely knows what she’s doing! She can do it all! Mani, pedi, acrylic, you name it. She’s also the best at designs! Show her a pic and she can replicate it easy or she can come up with a unique design just for you! She takes her time and always asks if you’re okay and if you like your nails. She truly cares about her customers and is amazing!

I have been going to this salon since they opened and have referred many neighbors and friends to them. A year ago, I would’ve given them five stars, but now I’d lower it to one. They started rushing through their pedicures, which used to be amazing. And I don’t know if they switched shellac products or if they just aren’t taking their time on details with manicures too, but what used to last at least two weeks before it started peeling, started peeling in a week and a half, and the last shellac mani lasted me six days. I went in, complained to the woman at the front(Owner? Manager?) and said I think I’d like to try a thin layer of acrylic to make my mani last longer and prevent breaking. I showed her pics of what I had in mind. She set me up with one of her staff members, showed her the pic, and left. If she would have come back at all to check to see how her already unhappy, yet still loyal customer was doing she would have noticed how bumpy, uneven and thick the acrylic job was that I was getting. But she didn’t and I paid for some reason I left. Against my better judgment I came back for a pedicure and got the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. She cut me, and burned me, and at the end of it all my pedicure looks awful. Never again.

$ 33 for JUST a gel color change(NO fill, NO design, NO long nails), and to fix literally the tip of my acrylic, not even the whole nail! Not even half the nail! Are they insane with those prices? I’m not paying San Francisco prices in Concord. She did a decent job, but not $ 33 worth. I tipped $ 5 so my total was almost $ 40. That is IN.SANE. I should have just gotten a fill at that point. Won’t be back with a greedy owner like that. Can anyone please recommend a good nail salon in this area?

My nails look good, love the color, but holy crap my fingers hurt! All my fingers hurt, but what upset me was that The nail tech ground the Emory board into the side of my middle finger! Then continued to poke at it with her dirty nails. I had to tell her 3 times not to touch it again. Then she had the nerve to ask for her tip in cash! Really?!?

REALLY breaks my heart to be writing this but I love this salon too much to let other people have the same experience I had. Twice now I’ve gotten a nail tech(short black hair, never got a name) who has given me absolutely PAINFUL manicures. My nails still hurt and it’s been three days In addition to cutting my nails all sorts of uneven ways she used her long fingernail to tuck my cuticles!!! I started bleeding a few times and she kept doing it?! She was touching my blood with her bare hands and I did not see her once get up and wash her hands before going through and touching all the tools. If you go here be sure to request the owner with long brown hair. She’s really the best and I’ve never had a problem with her manicures.

Went the other day and got an acrylic overlay. When the woman started to do my nails she asked if I wanted to get acrylic or gel nails. I decided to get the gel since she said it lasted longer. She began to do my nails, and we was surprisingly super gentle with handling the nail filers. When she finished my nails they were super fat and had acrylic all under my nails and skin. My fingernails started to hurt and the cleanliness wasn’t good at all. I asked for a natural look especially since I asked for an overlay, but the nails came out looking completely artificial. Once home I researched the difference between acrylic and gel overlay. Turns out acrylic uses the pink powder, and gel is already mixed before application and has a different look than acrylic. Turns out even though I asked and paid for gel overlay, the woman gave me acrylic. My nails still hurt and I hate the shape.

My daughter and I went there for matching mani/pedis on a GNO. We walked in at 6 on a Saturday night and were taken to chairs right away. They offered to take a picture of me and my daughter, which i thought was nice since it was a special night. The woman doing my daughter nails was very nice. She talked to her and asked questions. I had 2 women doing my nails(one on toes, one on my gel mani), and both were very friendly. Another manicurist even came up and talked to my daughter and commented about how happy my daughter was. She took another picture of us too! My daughter loved the cute little flowers on her nails and loved the Rapunzel chair they had for kids. My only complaint that my chair wasn’t working, but it was so small of an issue i’m not taking away a star. I’ve been here before for myself, but i loved how great they treated my daughter and I will definitely be back!

I believe her name is Lynn or Lina but I absolutely love how she does my nails, she spends so much time and attention and always double checks what you want and how you want it. My new favorite place to go!

I got a basic manicure and pedicure. My feet were not scrubbed with a pumice stone, or anything comparable so that left quite a bit to be desired as that’s the main reason I get pedicures is the remove the rough, dead-skin. Paint and nail shape were fine, massage was good. Manicure was pretty bad. Small pieces of fuzz from the towel and even small hairs ended up in the paint of my nails leaving bubbles/bumps which were removed with nail clippers and then painted over. The paint chipped the very next day. A week later and the polish is destroyed. Not worth the money.

This was my first time at the salon and I came in right when then opened. Definitely a great decision. I walked in and was greated by the friendly staff. There was hardly anyone there so its was quiet and relaxing. The shop wasn’t smelly and was also clean. I could tell the tools were sterile. The actual service was great. I got acrylics with gel polish(which was pretty low on cost). The lady that did my nails really took her time and made sure everything was perfect. Definitely going back. Found my new nail salon :)

Facility was very clean, several of the manicurist speak fluent English, and there are MANY colors to choose from in regular polish and gel polish. One young girl seemed to be in a rush with my gel manicure but my pedicure couldn’t have been better!

I just had my nails done by Kim and I LOVE them! Kim was so friendly and warm and made sure that everything was being done just how I like my nails. She was careful with the tools and gentle with my hands. The salon is clean and pretty. They have a great polish and shellac selection– better than the places I used to go to. They were very accommodating when I needed to change my appointment time and I was seen promptly. I had a great experience and I will definitely be back! Thank you!

Not giving 5 stars because they charge $ 1 for credit/debit cards and the website hasn’t been updated. It states free manicure with pedicure and $ 5 off $ 20. When I mentioned it the lady said oh no that was for our grand opening a year ago but you get free sea salt. I guess that’s better than nothing… The pedicure is $ 25 and in addition to the regular massage they also use hot, well warm stones. Other than that I like this place a lot. For nail services only though. My eyebrows were just okay, but I tend to be picky. Friendly staff Clean salon Open on Sundays Closed Monday New file and buffer for each customer Excellent massages Gel manicure $ 25
