History

Established in 2011.

Sonnys RV was founded in 1969 by Sonny Slusser in Charleston, South Carolina as a service company for mobile homes and travel trailers. He quickly diversified to sales of mobile homes and deliveries.

Still searching for new markets in his quest to become one of the largest RV dealers in the Southeast, he opened another RV dealership in Spartanburg, South Carolina in February 1984 and then in 1989 he sold it to his younger brothers.

Through Sonny’s continued direction and encouragement, a lot of hard work, and the blessings of God, Sonny’s Camp N Travel of Spartanburg Inc. has developed to be the #1 RV Dealer in South Carolina and in 2012 opened a new dealership in Concord, North Carolina.
