Sitzmann Chiropractic

Dr. Sitzmann is THE best chiropractor, period. I’ve been going to a chiropractor since I had a whiplash accident over ten years ago. I was pretty anxious the first time I went, and I only did it because I was in so much pain. Since my first visit I was hooked. I’ve seen three different chiropractors before being referred to Dr. Sitzmann.
The reason I was referred is even though I was seeing a chiropractor at the time, my low back was in intense pain. I was going to the chiropractor twice a week and the pain wasn’t getting any better. My friend finally convinced me to give Dr. Sitzmann a shot.
I’m glad I did! He took an X-​Ray (which no other chiropractor had ever done) and then told me WHY I was experiencing the pain I was having, and how he could help. It wasn’t unusual for me to see Dr. Sitzmann once or twice a week for the first year (my back, neck, and then shoulder, were pretty messed up). Now, I only go once a week for maintenance. Most importantly, I’m pain free. He’s easily worth what he charges. I’m shocked he’s not mentoring other chiropractors as I’ve seen in other practices. He should be.

Dr. Sitzmann is awesome! Fairly priced… Super nice guy… Doesn’t try to sell you on a plan like most chiropractor offices… and just come in when you need to… Listens to your needs, especially when you are feeling more sore in an area than normal… He gives more special attention to it.

Not enough stars!!! Dr. Sitzmann/​staff are awesome… My whole family goes for visits from being sic, earache pain, body aches and pains. He does sports exams .They have great accomdating hours. Always able to get you in for appt. Dr. Sitzmann always has time to listen to you, along with great suggestions about health tips. I live in Martinez/​pleasant hill and I call ahead when going to concord. And stop in to get a adjustment and the power turn back on. I deal with chronic pain. Dr. Sitzmann best medicine. Check out his back support cushions great for driving and sitting helps with posture. I refer my family and friends, I want them to feel as Great! as I do…

Dr. Dan is so kind and gentle. My entire family has been seeing him for the past year and everyone feels the same way (there actually aren’t too many things my teens agree on in general). I also have to say that I currently have a shoulder issue and Dr. Dan diagnosed it immediately while my former chiropractor was sure it was my cervical spine. After two MRIs (neck and shoulder), Dr. Dan’s diagnosis was confirmed. Yesterday I had arthroscopic surgery and I already have increased range of motion. With consistent follow-​up I should be back to 100% in a few short months, all thanks to Dr. Dan!

By far the best chiropractor I have ever known. In the early 90’s is when I first saw Dr. Sitzmann for a stiff neck. After a few adjustments, my neck has never felt better. It was as if all my vertebrae were floating on air. I have been to other chiropractors but nothing tops the service and care I received from Dr. Sitzmann. He has a very busy practice, but always finds time to actively listen to your concerns. I highly recommend him.

My husband and two daughters have been going to dr Sitzman for over 13 years. I highly recommend dr Sitzman. He is not about trying to get you on some plan or get your money. He truly wants to get you healthy and moving. My daughters being in sports and my husband and I being so active we have come in for shoulder, knee, ankle, jaw, headache, migraine, tennis elbow. We don’t go to the regular doctor we go to the chiropractor. We feel blessed to have him as our dr and would not know what to do without his service.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Sitzmann. It was at least 10+ years since I had seen a chiropractor, and have been dealing with horrible back and neck pain for years. I have been on and off all sorts of medication, and to the point of seeking surgery for relief… My pain management Dr asked if I had considered chiropractic care, and it might be worth a shot!
I immediately looked up local drs and Dr. Sitzmann was able to see me immediately. He went through my X-​rays/​MRI in full detail with me and answered all my questions. He then got to work, was very gentle and thorough. I’ve been seeing Dr. Sitzmann for 3 weeks now and have almost been completely out of neck/​back pain. I can already see the difference in my posture, the way I stand, and how carry myself. I do not have the pain in my neck I used too… I can’t remember the last time I didn’t have a headache! Its so wonderful!

I am an avid weight lifting athlete and have always had problems with my back. I have gone to several chiropractors and they all say the same thing… Quit lifting heavy weights. That’s is not something I am willing to do. Dr Sitzmann was aware that I am a weight lifter and rather than recommending I quit he provided suggestions and stretches I should do before and after lifting. He is very knowledgable and really takes the time to listen to your problems and concerns. Everytime I visit his office I leave feeling much better and relaxed. Definitely would recommend him to friends and family.

Before meeting Dr. Sitzman I had 2 very bad experiences with Chiropractic Dr. I swore I would never go back. Dr. Sitzmann actually listened took a full case history and treated me so that he did not worsen my condition. I would recommend Dr. Sitzman for any one who is looking for Chiropractic service.

Fantastic chiropractor! I have been going to him for probably two years now. He listens to your problems, addresses them, cracks you in all the right places and then gives you exercises to do in order to prevent future pain. He is very easy-​going and makes you feel very comfortable. Very affordable and students get discounts here too, which is fabulous. I would recommend him to anyone :)

I’ve only been to a chiropractor once, after an accident, but felt like the years spent at a desk in front of a computer have started to take its toll. So I went and saw Dr. Sitzmann to get things «straightened» out.
I had no idea what to expect and Dr. Sitzmann took the time to tell me and show me what was going on and how he was going to treat me.
He spent about 30 minutes addressing several issues — more than just from being hunched over all day — and I finished my first session with 15 minutes on his massage table.
I was sore for a couple of days, as Dr. Sitzmann warned me of, but then I definitely felt that my posture was better and I felt much better.
I plan on seeing Dr. Sitzmann on a regular basis just as a preventative measure. I don’t have a lot of experience with chiropractors but I really appreciated his approach and how he sincerely enjoys what he does to help people.

I’ve been going to Dr Sitzmann for a couple of years now, so this review is way overdue.
I have arthritis in my neck and have had many days where I can’t move my neck or have so much pain I can’t see straight. Those days are a few and far between since I’ve started treatments with Dr Sitzmann.
He is a true healer and expert in body aches and ailments, and I always walk out of his office relieved. Don’t let the 70’s décor and equipment fool you. He may be old school, but he knows what he is doing.

If I used words like «Genius» or «Miracle worker» to describe Dr. Sitzmann, would I be overreaching!!! I THINK NOT!
I’ve been a patient of his off and on for nearly 15 years, and I tend to only go when I’m in pain, but I vow to do better.

Not only is Dr. Sitzmann the best chiropractor I’ve seen, his staff is just delightful!

I’ve been going to Dr. Sitzmann for years. I’m a nurse and my job beats up my body pretty bad. I frequently pinch a nerve in my neck and have recurrent lower back problems. After I go see Dr. Sitzmann it’s as if my pain disappears. I was a bit of a sceptic about chiropractic medicine when I started, but I am a definitely believer now.
Dr. Sitzmann is a very nice and knowledgable man, and the office staff are very friendly. It’s not difficult to get an appointment. If they’re booked up they always make time to squeeze you in. If they offer to have to lay on the spinalator (yes that’s what it’s called), don’t turn them down!

Dr. Sitzmann came highly recommended and well-​reviewed, so when my back was killing me, I decided to try a visit. I’m so glad I did! Dr. Sitzmann is great at what he does– he is thorough with explanations, quick at the adjustments, gives exercises, and always makes sure to answer questions.
This practice is in a cute little house (kinda old, but still cute) and the receptionist is always nice and helpful. I’ve found that as busy as they are (there are always people here), they always have available appointments.
