Renaissance Square

I have been a resident here for 7 months and absolutely love it! The location is perfect and my floor plan is amazing! Over 1400sqft can’t beat that! I am glad I decided to make Renaissance my home! I’ve recommended a coworker here as well and they just moved in and love it just as much as I do!

We lived in Renaissance Square for almost 2 years and I have to say it was one of the best apartment communities we’ve ever lived in. A great staff with very little turnover so it really helps build a nice community feel. For the most part, even the neighbors are very nice and welcoming. Amazing location and you can walk to any kind of restaurant, farmers markets, summer concerts in Todos Santos plaza and a very easy walk to BART. We used the hot tub and pool a few times and all were very clean and in perfectly working condition. The building also has wonderful finishes for an apartment. Granite counter tops, hardwood floors, large shower. We only left because we needed a house with the current living situation. If you need an apartment in Concord… I highly recommend this place.

Minus three stars for the pool being Closed Until Further Notice when it’s 85 degrees at 9:30pm as the weather heats up for June, AND for the «hot» tub being ice cold and nonfunctional all damn winter and spring.
They want to charge 4 grand for month to month of a 2 bedroom. In concord. With apparently NO functional amenities. I’ve lived here since they started renting, but it’s going downhill at breakneck speeds. It’s enough to make a person take the mortgage plunge.

I love it here! The office staff is great! If something needs to get done, it’s always fast and efficient; with a Text notification that it’s done. They have addressed the security issues by having an onsite person during the evenings and my bike is now locked in a secured storage area. I love being close to downtown, lots of fun this summer with the music and farmer’s market. And being within walking distance of BART is great. just 10 minutes away. The grounds are clean, sometimes doggie droppings, but talked to the office about it and that is being addressed. I like having the pool and gym available. I have an inside court apartment, and it is very quite especially since we are downtown. The apartments are large, and upgrades for kitchen. Rent is compatible with other apartments of this quality. I feel safe, and very comfortable here. Just resigned my lease for another year.

We have lived here for just about 6 months it has not been a good experience both of our vehicles have been broken into and vandalized. Although the staff is very nice and accommodating they were not willing to negotiate with us when we wanted to move out. We ended up paying $ 3000 to buy our lease out so we could move somewhere more secure. The apartments are very nice and they let you paint the walls. The groundskeeping is always clean and the maintenance crew is top notch. They just need to invest in some security cameras and maybe a night time security guard.

Very upscale and gorgeous communnity. Well up-​kept and friendly office staff. Pool is to die for! Feels very safe and secure.

Two things up front:
1) As with anything in life, it’s hard to judge something with complete clarity while you’re immersed in it. As I live here and I’m currently sitting inside of it’s walls, I’m as immersed as it gets.
2) I’m not hard to please, but I’m not easy to please either. There. Brutal Unilocal honesty.
Now then, The apartments are nice and modern with good square footage even though they do seem a little pricey, being this far from the city. The staff always wants to, and usually is very helpful. It’s quiet here most of the time. Also, if you dig almost never seeing your neighbors, this is the place for you. I’m not sure how or with what future technology this is accomplished, but it seriously seems like only 6 people live here and there are certainly many many more.
The elevators are a form of torture, and I know this is petty. Honestly though, I have no idea where they go and what they do when you press the call button.
It’s about as safe a community as you can find. There are gates and key fobs and a seemingly lonely security guy who walks around the place a time or two overnight.
There’s a pool and a fitness center as well.
All this great stuff and I really don’t sound that impressed, do I? Here’s the kicker: For me and my significant other, who moved to the Bay suddenly from across the country where we lived in the middle of a city, it’s exceptionally bland here. We rented sight unseen and, everything worked out pretty well. There just isn’t much in Concord and no matter how nice a complex is, I’m pretty sure it’s advisable to live closer to stuff, if your’e the kind of cat who likes to do anything more than go to the mall Brookstone on a Saturday night to check out the new chair massagers.

It has been seven months since my last review and time for a revamp.
Since my last review, they have at least quarterly events. The last one was a private concert, put on by very talented local artist. This is far above anything I have ever experienced from a apartment complex (if it can be called that). It was catered by a local master chef and the food was amazing. The entire ensemble was unbelievable from a living community.
They have continued to be friendly and I have not had one issue to complain about.
This complex allows for safety and walk-​ability. There are countless eateries and even a discrete ²⁴⁄₇ gas station to quail any late night munchies.
The price of renting is well worth the safety, community, and walk-​ability (plus the Bart is five minutes away).

Awful Awful* got car broken into while parked in garage (that have NO cameras in it) not to mention other peoples cars I heard about getting broken into and bikes stolen and they don’t put it in the letters that they post so people will know… so many homeless people around there.
Marlen the manager was awesome though!
Dog poop was on the sidewalks (from smail dogs) and some people would not even have there small dog on a leash come on! just bc your dog is small means nothing. they do give people doggie bags to clean up the dog stuff which is awesome! it’s great they allow dogs bc most places don’t and big dogs at that.
The guy who does the fixing (spanish guy) if you have a prob. is very cool too & ron I think that was his name was as well.
«o» and when we left they had these crazy fees they take from your deposit ugh… like $ 200 for cleaning are u kidding me. rent is over priced.
we hated it there although it’s very pretty.
«o» and the doors were never closed to keep the outside doors locked so anyone could get in without having a key. ALSO not easy taking in your groceries all the way from the garage

i would have given 10 out of if the site allowed. this is undoubtably the best place to live in concord, ca. appartment are very well maintained and services offered are awesome.

I lived here for a few months. They are pretty nice but not at all worth the price. Plus they are not in the best area of concord. Cars were broken into a few times, and there is really no area for guests to park. If you can afford to live here you can afford to live in a house, I say rent a house.

These luxury condominiums, originally intended to be sold in the 350K-​500K range started being leased about a year ago — which is when we moved in — we LOVE it here. The apartments are gorgeous, with beautiful granite countertops and new stainless steel appliances, central AC and heat, large, well-​appointed bathrooms, big walk-​in closets, etc. There is no linoleum in sight, which is nice.
The building has a great pool and community room with HD TV, full kitchen (also with granite and stainless steel appliances), tons of seating space and even a conference room. They also just started offering a Yoga class on the weekends.
It is VERY quiet here, the management is great, and the location is ideal as you are literally just steps away from all of downtown Concord. The building itself looks amazing — you can tell these units were meant to be sold as homes, not rented as apartments. So far, we are VERY happy we decided to move here!
