Not bad! Lunch would be better as its your standard Chinese buffet. Many restaurants do this with far less success… Recent review of the place up north…

Great buffet for the price. Large variety of items. Don’t let let one star reviews below fool you. This was good food for good people. Some people never have anything good to say about any thing. We went and loved it.

Great… if you like worms.
At a recent dinner at this buffet, my Aunt and Cousin both found very large, dead worms in their food. The owner/​manager told them «It ok we get them all the time. we cook them» refused to offer refund. I found a beetle in my food the same day. Several times I have found their bathrooms vile, and I have seen bugs on the floor.

Love it :) my boyfriend and I go there alot and the wait staff is so friendly.
Only downside: the food isn’t that hot :/

So I enjoyed the food here but let me tell you how terrible this place is managed. The manager who runs the show with the messed up teeth is one of the worst business owners I have ever encountered. The sprite I ordered tasted like bad town water. I mentioned it to the waitress who gave me attitude and insisted with fighting with me thinking I was trying to get away with a free $ 1 sprite. The tension started here when I asked for the same soda and it tasted horrendous. She proceeded to get the manager and the waitress and her friend were staring me down while I was writing feedback on back of a receipt. I was so disgusted I was unable to finish my ice cream that I just served for myself. I spoke with the manager with the busted up teeth and she proceeded to scream in my face about how it’s the towns fault for the bad tasting soda and she was frustrated and furious that she credited my account for a $ 1 soda. Had nothing to do with that. This place has great chefs but unfortunately the manager and her wait staff do not understand or comprehend what customer service is. This is the US, not China, we value feedback and the customer is always right. I have been a business manager for 10 years and the food here is tasty depending on what you get but the lack of professionalism for a Chinese restaurant in this area is appalling and disturbing. The people here are clueless. The brightest people here are in my opinion the cooks who take pride in making the food great with the resources they are given. The manager here would be fired on the spot if I ran this place. If you don’t want to have a voice, and make sure you do not suggest or make a fuss or anything otherwise they will take it as a personal attack and condescend you and your family. DO NOT GO HERE! The food is good but not worth the aggravation of dealing with this tyrant manager and her uneducated disrespectful staff. Don’t be fooled. Go at your own risk.

My family and I tried this place after visiting the Gift of Lights last year on the recommendation of a family member.
It was terrible. Food was lukewarm at best and you could tell it had been sitting there for awhile. The service left much to be desired. The wait staff barely speaks to you and yet stares at you while you eat.
So stupid us we moved to Concord in April and one day thought to give it a second chance. Worst decision ever. We could have gone somewhere much better for what we paid. Same crap food. Same crap service.
Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE.

If there were 0 stars they would have it. I sat down as the waitress came over to take my drink order. As I got my first plate after getting my drink I picked up my phone and keys then walked to the bathroom. (I do not trust to leave valuables in the open). The waitress follows me to bathroom and waited for me to get out and handed me the check saying «pay now, you pay now». I hadn’t even had a bite of my food yet !!! I demanded to speak to the manager. When telling her the situation she says «you don’t like? You get out!!!» I was flabbergasted. The food is cold and the whole building is old and dirty. This is a place for people with no value for their health or well being. Looking back at it I can’t believe I went their so often. Also the waitresses are very cliquey. I went in with a close friend who is Bi-​Lingual. When the waitresses were talking he translated what they were saying to me. «Black people smell» «look at the fat cow» «that family is so fat haha» this place is a wreck and people need to stay far away. Unfortunately some people will pay cheap money for cheap food…

The food is mediocre at best, the staff are RUDE in particular the hostess and the sushi chef. The sushi chef actually stood in front of me as I was taking food and said «oh my God» and shaking his head implying I was taking to many pieces. On another occasion he saw me coming toward the sushi bar and removed a plate of sushi he had just made until i had returned to my seat. Needless to say this is the LAST time I will go to this restaurant, it’s worth the 20 minute trip to Manchester for better food and service.

Best Asian cuisine in Concord NH. Nice buffet selections of food. Only down fall is during the dinner times, not enough crab legs to be served on a consistent basis. But still a great restaurant.

This place left a lasting impression on my life.
Just seeing the sign gives me the dry gurgle in the back of my throat that let’s me know «it’s about to get ugly!».

I’m a sucker for a Chinese buffet, especially if they throw in decent sushi. So if I pass by one I haven’t tried before, and it’s time for a meal, I’ll usually stop in and check it out. In this case, that might not have been the best decision. The food is… okay. Nothing memorable, nothing particularly bad. The selection was OK, although like so many of the buffets in the area this one is heavy on the standards (sesame chicken, honey chicken, General Tso’s chicken — are you seeing a pattern here?) with an odd mix of supposedly «Italian» fare added on (mediocre pizza, overcooked pasta, bland sauce — you have to wonder why they bothered). The sushi selection was, again as seems to be very typical of buffets in the area, heavy on the rolls (only two nigiri selection, and those were just tamago and inari) and it seemed like half the rolls included cream cheese — so not exactly the most authentic. Add in indifferent service (OK, it IS a buffet, but you can at least smile when filling drinks) and only so-​so cleanliness, and I feel like I’m being generous in giving even two stars.

I went there for lunch the other day. It is pretty big with a lot of sushi selections. The sushi was awesome! The food was pretty good, but some of it wasn’t to warm. Overall, I’d go back.

Let’s just say i keep coming back to this toilet seat eating joint and i don’t know why, every time i go there i’m just disappointed, their food taste like dog breath and the service is… well let’s just say if you like service that stares at you the entire time then this is the place you should be. My fork looked like it was 20 years old and that someone got hungry and chewed on it before eating, but then again the fork probly taste better anyway. The shrimp is probly the only thing i like and i get three places of it so they don’t like me to much, but hey if i’m gonna go to this place i’m gonna get my moneys worth! When i left last time there was a lady who ran out trying not to pay… Hmm wonder why? This probly happens on a daily basis. But anyway if you’re thinking of coming to red apple you’re better off staying at home and eating a green apple for dinner!

If I could do no stars I would. I live in the area and for some reason I don’t understand, I keep coming back. Okay, I guess it probably has something to do with the fact that there’s no other Chinese buffets around, but that’s no excuse. (I regret my decision EVERY time…)
First off, the customer service is terrible. The waitresses personalities are about as bland as their food. They have their dining room set up in such a way that they can stand on their mat and watch every table. It is nice to have my plate taken away when I’m done, but having someone hovering while I eat is slightly uncomfortable. It seems like a set up to move people out quickly or something. Ha! And you should see the dirty looks my boyfriend gets when he gets heaping piles of shrimp. It’s an all you can eat, correct? Then we’re going to eat all we can eat. (Which for me isn’t much…)
Second — food. I don’t even know where to begin. Maybe with the fact that it’s tasteless? Some of it doesn’t even LOOK appetizing. If you show up on a weekday expect everything to be cold or lukewarm and old. There’s no telling how long it’s been sitting there. Once I got some sesame chicken and I’m not even joking when I say it wasn’t chicken. It was dark meat. I couldn’t finish it.
Thirdly, the atmosphere looks nice… until you take a closer look. Our napkin holder had nastiness on it and my boyfriends fork had scum stuck to it. In fact, the fork was so bent out of shape and scuffed up I wouldn’t be surprised if it was part of the original set when they opened the place! Expect your plates to be of a similar standard. Oh, and watch where you’re walking… I always trip on the uneven flooring. The fish ponds and tanks are nice. So glad to know where the money is going, because it’s not going towards food. ;)
I’m sure there’s more I could tell you, but I’ve given you enough information to be warned. If it’s a weekend then I guarantee you it’s probably packed with people and the food will HAVE to be fresh but atmosphere and service won’t be much different. Enjoy!

Awesome Food! Most of it was hot, fresh and delicious! :)
Service people seemed pleasant. The only negative was that they might have had too much time on their hands, as litterally the moment you put your food down, they came and took your leftovers away! :O So be sure to finish before you go over for seconds/​thirds!
Average Price. But SUCH a variety of food, from Chiniese and American, to Simple Italian food, great desserts. Confortable Enviroment.
Would Try: Green Beans (yes, they were good!), Prime Rib, Chicken Fingers (Who doesn’t love those?), Fresh Salad, Most of the Desserts (even the Ice Cream is cold and fresh, not ‘dairy whipped’).
Would Avoid: Boneless Spearibs, General Tao’s Chicken,

The food was pretty good, but as for the staff they rush you and are always up your butt taking your plates when your not done so that was annoying, I wouldn’t come back

Ate here for the first time last night. My boyfriend really enjoys it here and I liked the variety of food but didn’t find any standouts. The mashed potatoes tasted like the same ones from Ponderosa and the garlic bread reminded me of something you can buy from Walmart. The white rice was very clumpy and dry. The tapioca pudding also tasted store bought. I can’t see myself eating here again. My boyfriend also got the runs. I’ve had better buffet food at other restaurants but was worth a shot. I also didn’t like how the wait staff stood near your tables watching you eat (can make a person feel self conscious). They did remove the plates from the tables quickly though and we got seated immediately.

Nice place. Food was okay. A lots of seafood. My boyfriend really love it. Good family place.

Just moved here and tried it out. Not as bad as others are saying. Yes, the food is standard stuff, but I really enjoyed the seafood biscuits. The pot stickers were good too. Sushi was good. Didn’t get food poisoning. I’ve had worse Asian buffet food. I’d probably go again. Try the ambrosia for dessert.

Regular chinese food, excellent sushi, good service. A little boring design. Reasonable price.
