History

Established in 2007.

Perry’s Knife and Tactical was founded in 2007, by Jason and Karen Perry. Jason started this endeavor making hardwood police batons, and as time when on they added more products. Then, in 2009 the world’s sources of Cocobolo wood (first choice for police batons) all but dried up, and so the Perrys set out to build a business more focused on Knives and Gear.

In July 2012, Sgt. Michael Perry (Jason’s brother) lost his life in a Military accident, during training for overseas deployment. Michael had planned to join the family business, following his return from deployment. In his memory, the Perrys began a new chapter for the business in the Fall of 2014, with the opening of a small brick & mortar store in downtown Concord, Ca. A big reason PKT exists, is the influence of Sgt. Micheal Perry and the many other friends and family that have served and are serving in the US Military.
