I stopped by for a light dinner and was disappointed with the food. The«Caesar» salad had Italian dressing, not remotely like a Caesar salad. The French onion soup was passable, but not good. The house wine was fine, with a large pour. Service good.

Just had lunch here with the girlfriend and it was a great find. We are visiting from California and decided to drive through the country and found this place on accident. I had the Michael’s Club and the girlfriend had the Buffalo chicken wrap. Both were delicious and the service was pleasant. Not much around he area but well worth the drive to get here.

Jorge is here from Sierras. Place has been brightened up. Friendly bar scene. Food is good and I would say improved. Does anyone remember Michaels back in 1984? Italian food steak tips frozen desert drinks.

We moved to this neighborhood about five years ago and our first experiences at Michael’s were like many described here. And I agree that the booths since the remodel are excruciatingly uncomfortable. But they are very close to home and our kids have always liked the food, so now and again, we try them. Starting sometime this spring or summer, we have started to be rather impressed. There seems to be a new chef. The menu continues to evolve. The daily specials menu in particular has yielded some exquisite gems, including a succulent duck breast and a pork tenderloin stuffed with vegetables and cheese. I think I’ve actually eaten here four times since June, including three dinners and a lunch. One dinner was a little heavier than I expected from the description, but all were far superior to what I remember from even a year ago. This place is definitely transforming into something new and better. Still a lively(and sometimes loud) bar scene, still family/kid-friendly, but up a notch in quality. If you had a poor experience in the past, I urge you to try again!

I just got home from the worst meal of my life. My fiancé and I feel sick. The dishes were dirty, the service was terrible, the seats were uncomfortable, the décor was non-existent and the food was disgusting. I had a lobster roll, which cost me $ 20, and I know there was no lobster meat in it. I have no idea what it was. This is an awful place. Do not try it.

My boyfriend and I went there a couple times on our lunch break. Never have been Wowed, but it was the closest restaurant for us to go to. This past time we went had to be the absolute worst. We ordered our drinks and the bread comes out. After inspecting the obvious mold that was on the bread, we told our waitress about it. Her response was embarrassing something like«oh i know what that is!” – yes.we do too, but she made it seem as if it wasn’t mold and some kind of weird experiment the chefs were having someday and somehow it ended on our table. Her response made us die. and we both agreed to never go back. Yikes!

No stars. No Charm(except the server/hostess/bar girl — all the same person). Possibly one of the worst restaurants we’ve ever been to. There was a lively bar scene(well we could hear them but I could not say what kind of clientele). We asked our server(–who was very pleasant which i think it helps her as she is just, I’m sure. trying to keep customers from being mean) what they were known for, her answer, it’s too long, complicated and really was a non answer… they are known for nothing. I can understand her difficulty in answering. Wish I checked Unilocal before entering… Never again! The three of us ordered each a diff chix dish and the awful chix was the exact same breaded mess in each dish with different watery sauce. Disgusting… Butternut squash side was rancid and sent back… there are just so many bad things about the food… STAYFARAWAY. We were told a remodel was under way… Unless part of the remodel is to STOP using horrible/rancid/unfresh/questionable food and to start to utilize all the wonderful farms by them then they shouldn’t bother. Hello! Fresh farm veg literally right at your back door! SO Sad. Ok now I’m done ranting… Wait, if it was allowed to give zero stars you know I would.

I don’t think this place has any redeeming qualities beyond convenience. The food is meh. The seating is meh. The service is meh. The only time I’ll go here is when my parents, who go here often when they actually go out to dinner, are buying… and even then it’s only after a debate on what other options are available. Not Your Average Joe’s in Acton is worth the extra drive.

What a hidden gem. From the outside this place doesn’t look like anything special, but there is a wonderful, cozy restaurant inside! I come here all the time with my wife and kids, always sure to get a good meal.

Though it so frequently ends in disappointment, my office occasionally needs to venture out, to either discover somewhere new, or remind ourselves why our staples, the everyday favorites, have earned that status over the years. Today we went out originally to hit the pizza place next to Michael’s, but there was some discussion of seating that led to a changing of minds. So we walk into Michael’s and are greeted by an enthusiastic server, considering we were the only ones there. i think maybe one other person came in during the lunch hour. The décor is sort of Cape Cod meets something, i don’t know what the something is, though. Lots of weathered gray wood and paintings of the coast. It looked like a decent list of stuff on draft, but none of us were in the mood. The menu was on the spendy side for lunch(there isn’t a lunch menu), but we were already committed. i had spaghetti and meatballs, and was honestly pretty psyched. i like spaghetti and meatballs. Heck, i like Spaghetti-O’s and frozen meatballs. And basically that’s what this tasted like. Only more watery. And it cost $ 10. Reviews from colleagues varied from a soggy sandwich to decent hamburgers. This just in, one of those colleagues just got sick and went home. Michael’s, sadly, i believe we’re going to bill his time to you. Check your mail.

Found this place just by chance while on Rte 117 meeting someone in Sudbury. Small place with a full bar area. Food is great… They have daily specials, as well as a regular menu that is fantastic with lots to choose from, hot entrees as well as quite a few sanwich offerings… My Mom had rack of ribs, which was enormous and they were so tender they fell off th the bone. I had fish which was as fresh as Legal!!. While out of the way, highly recommend Michael’s
