I always love my cuts here. All through high school, college, and the first 6 months of «real» life (in Connecticut, mind you) I came here because I could never find anywhere else that I liked as much. I always got my hair cut by Mi or Miya.

One star is too high for this salon. I went in the day before for a color consultation with the owner/​stylist. I said I only wanted the new growth colored and I didn’t want her to touch the existing color. I asked her if she could match my color and she said, «Of course! No problem, no problem. I may have to blend it a little.» She lied. She applied the color, by the time she came back, some of my hair had fallen out. I went in a beautiful blond and came out a purplish, pink, grey! She quoted me $ 75 for a one process, saying it might take more than one process. I got a one process and she charged me $ 95. I can’t upload a second photo, but I would love to post the after picture and let you see the disaster for yourself.

Well, Debbie’s gone but not me. I stayed with the crew. Nope not one of those to move with the stylist. My loyalty is to that little shop in Concord where everyone know’s my hair. … all last 25 strands.
Not quite that bad but the tide still continues to go out. Mi and sometimes Miya or sometims Miya and then Mi cut my hair. I keep it simple because i get confused with similar names and a bad memory. So I just say hey!

I appreciate any hair salon where a girl in Birkenstock clogs and jeans can enter without feeling terribly out of place. Mi & Miya are knowledgable stylists who remain friendly with their customers. I got my hair cut at their salon several times, and I’ve never been disappointed with their service! The price you pay is well deserved, indeed.
