Lucy’s Family Day Care

I was a stay-​at-​home Mom for 5 years, so needless to say it was really hard for me to go back to work and leave my kids with someone, somewhere. Lucy is amazing. She treated me with kid-​gloves saying we could do whatever it was we needed to feel comfortable (ie. bring pillow, food, a picture…), even pay when we could! Lucy makes all homemade, organic (sometimes Polish) food. She lathers the children in sunscreen. She teaches them love and compassion through her own actions of throwing birthday parties, graduations parties and just plain parties. A teacher comes 3 times a week and teaches the «older» children while the younger ones get their own special time to sing and learn new songs. We love her and are so thankful we found her! My daughter basically grew up at Lucy’s, attending from June 2010 to the present day. Essentially, my daughter was raised by me, my wife, and Lucy. And I could not be more thrilled with Lucy’s. My daughter absolutely adores Lucy. A teacher comes to Lucy’s to work with the kids several days a week, and the result is that my daughter is extremely well-​prepared for kindergarten. My wife and I were so pleased with the instruction my daughter was getting there that we decided to forego moving her to a preschool since she was getting the equivalent of preschool at Lucy’s. In addition, the price is very reasonable, as are the hours, which makes it very convenient for working parents. The only downside is that my daughter is very distraught, as are my wife and I, over having to leave Lucy’s in a few weeks to start kindergarten. I could not more strongly recommend Lucy’s Daycare.
