La Clinica Monument

This clinic is so convenient for everyone. Whether you have insurance or not they will treat you equally well. The doctors are well experienced and with lots of medical background. The entire medical staff treat everyone very sweet and does their very best to get the information you need as soon as possible. The semi inconvenience is that you do have to register with the clinic in order to be seen, with or without insurance. Once you register every time you come to an appointment you’ll be able to have all your medical needs met. The only reason this establishment does not get 5 stars is simply because the phone customer service is way below satisfactory. If you have a simple question and decide to make a quick phone call to them, please be prepared to wait more than 20 minutes for someone to answer. If you’re calling for registration or billing (of course) they are pretty quick to answer the call but everyone else will most likely make you wait 20+ minutes (their excuse is that it’s just 1 girl working the phones). I believe that if you’re in the area, it’s best to just stop by and talk to one of the girls at the front window/​waiting area. You’ll be in and out with all your questions answered. I once wanted to talk to a nurse about an appointment, I was on the phone waiting for more than 30 minutes until I just drove down and spoke to someone in person, I was in and out in about 10 minutes. So, The clinic is wonderful, nice staff, clean and comfortable but watch out with those phone calls.

They deserve 0 stars this clinic is the worst i can’t believe I had to wait 30 minutes for them to answer the phone the worst costumer service!

Amazing anyone has a good experience here. Went to enroll and forgot something in the car, told the girl who was doing my enrollment I would be right back. 2 minutes later I’m back and she is gone!!! She went to meeting! What??? In the middle of enrolling someone you get up and leave? I had to sit for about 45 minutes to wait for her to return and I was charged $ 25 to enroll for a non profit.
Called a month later to make an appointment and they were booked months in advance. Asked the girl what would i do if it were an urgent need. She was rude, said something like call elsewhere.
Ridiculous place, i never got in to be seen so can’t comment on the medical or dental care. Other ppl I know have said they hate clinica too. I’ve met one person who liked the dental clinic.

I’ve been putting this review off for awhile as I really dislike negativity. But I can’t continue to bite my tongue especially when it comes to la clinica. The staff is extremely unprofessional. In the dental department their cleaning your teeth and talking bad about the other staff and co workers in general and not paying attention to the patient or even taking into consideration that they’re working on a patient. The girls in the front always have a frown and look/​talk at/​to you up and down like they think there better than you or as if your ignorant. The girls in the medical dept are a bit better but as others have stated they don’t have a clue on your diagnosis. This facility needs to get it together as they are dealing with people’s lives here!

Had an appointment at 9:45 am with Dr. Akira (may have spelt wrong). It is now 11:26 am and I am still waiting to see her. She has been by far the most unprofessional doctor I have ever had. Getting a hold of her to refill a prescription took a month. By then I had already gone through withdrawal since it was a medication I had taken everyday for almost 5 years. I will no longer be seeing her.

Dr Powell seriously changed my life. I love coming here, everyone is super helpful and nice. Love. They are very flexible and can often times put me and my two young sons on back to back appointments to get us all done in one trip.

Horrible customer service in the dental department. The ladies working there are unprofetonal, nasty and rude. Its seems like they hate their job and thir customers equally. They refuse to answer the phone and act as if they are doing you a favor for even talking with you.
The medical staff seem a bit friendlier but they seem confused whenever you ask the simplest question. The doctors ive delt with don’t seem to have enough experience to diagnose the simplest things. Image going in with chest pain and the doctor tells you its normal but the next day you end up in the emergency room and being told your lucky you didn’t die. The doctors shouldn’t act like they known everything and if they’re unsure maybe they should refer it to another doctor or specialist. Peoples lives are in their hands and their well being is more important than the doctors know it all inflated ego.
Someone up high really needs to investigate this place and make changes before someone dies.

worst service ever from the dental department. the 3 mexican ladies in the front office have always given me attitude when helping me out. (if that is called helping out) i had an appointment at a certain time and they even called me to remind me and i showed up at the time… they said i was late for 30 min… when i told them that the appointment was at that time and showed them the paper they said that when it was x-​rays i was supposed to be there 30 min earlier… how was i supposed to know that? if the called me with the reminder and gave me the paper of a different time. then they gave me the hardest time to get a different appointment the same day. they just didn’t want to give me more appointment… but this was not the doctor! it was the three receptionists only…
if i had the choice i would rate it with a 0!!!

It’s an ok place the only thing that’s horrible is trying to make an appointment over the phone, they never answer you can be on hold for 15 minutes or longer.

This clinic represents the worst in medicine. The doctors are a disgrace to everything care is about. If you have medical then all they want to do is test you endlessly to charge huge bills the patient doesn’t see. They treat patients like dogmeat and are short with you and make you feel as though you should be thankful for the pitifully inept time their second rate doctors spend with you. DO NOT GO HERE.

On my first visit ever to La Clinica, I left extremely pissed off. The billing rep was unhelpful without even asking me if I have insurance. I was charged 158.50 for just x-​ray and teeth examination. I can get all that plus cleaning for a deal below 40.00 at a lot of other dental places out there.
The reason I chose them because I thought they are for the low income people. I was in search of an affordable dentist but they instead ripped me off.
The rep was unhelpful, never smiled or said sorry for charging me 158.50. I felt unwelcomed and it was like they do not want me to come back. Luckily I figured it out and let the insurance pays the 158.50.
I give one star for the dentist and her assistant because they were nice to me.
I do not know if they claim themselves a nonprofit but my experience told me the opposite.

0000 STARS for CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been putting this review off for a while now. I have talked to the site manager already and still, it is customer DIS-​service and not customer service. Although voice message, which puts you on hold for around 30 minutes, states CUSTOMER SERVICE is a commitment, they got to be joking. When you do get a LIVE person on the other end, they can not help you and when they say, someone will call you back, expect that call to come in the next millennia. LA CLINICA MONUMENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS…

Would give 0 stars if possible. Wanted a 2-​step TB test, front desk lady didn’t even know what it is, said I should space my tests 6 weeks apart and refused to give one without seeing the doctor, which is 2 months later. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Bad attitude! I’m a nurse and I hate seeing patients here who are or might be getting this type of service.

Really friendly people they always listed to any thing you have to say they always explain. Everything As much as they can I love this place and I really recommended

Some people at the front are VERY RUDE (big women)!! Some of them don’t even know what they are doing my papers are always getting mixed/​lost. I had to wait 1:30min to see the doctor! not a good place!

I have never seen such ignorance and negligence. It took 12 calls over the course of 3 months before they gave me the results of a lab test; they gave me the wrong medication; the staff, rife with confusion, gives conflicting explanations; no one there seems to know what is going on. I do NOT recommend this place. Do not go there unless you are dying, then perhaps they can see you through to the end.
