First(and last) time here. I had a#12 Beach Club. So little avocado spread its ridiculous. The bread is plain. Nothing at special about this sandwich. Definitely«gourmet» as advertised. I still can’t find much avocado spread…

This place actually surprised me. Pretty good sandwiches. Way better than subway! Lol. I got the roast beef with veggies and it was great! The bread was really good too!

These guys are great! They are so fast and friendly. I love their Italian Night Club Sandwich, it is packed full and all the Ingredients were fresh. Found out today they deliver too! Had my lunch delivered to my office for a very small delivery fee and they were super fast!

Tasty I was really hoping it would taste like sub way. It was hoping for what it was. I ordered the club tuba. Which is one of their bigger sandwiches. It was good but there was something missing. Sauce and skill the other stuff. Make sure you ask our say jimmy it up. That will add sauce onions and peppers, if that’s what you want. They were very fast. It felt like the guild was ready as soon as I settled my self down at my table. I would try again so I could check out the sauces and every thing else. If the sauces improve it that much I will give it a delicious rating.

It’s a sandwich shop that prouds itself on being fast. Well, it gets 4 stars cause it is really fast. It doesn’t get 5 stars though because the menu is kind of small, and I tend to like a bit more choice in my sandwiches. I got a Turkey & Roast Beef Sandwich. I was happy enough with it. It doesn’t really photo well though lol. The price was fair for a sandwich as well. Ultimately, I’d got back if in the area, but I wouldn’t seek it out.

Tried this place out for the first time over the weekend. Meh… The staff were very friendly and greeted us as we walked in. The location is nice and clean and has a good amount of seating. I loved all the funny signs on the wall, tables, and bathroom! The menu was limited to sandwiches and only a few meat choices. On the recommendations of the staff we decided to try out the Beach Club. We grabbed a seat and they called our name when our sandwich was ready. We picked it up at the counter and gave it a try. The meat, bread, and veggies all seemed fresh but it was not anything special. Maybe I’ve been spoiled with one too many Ike’s sandwiches but Jimmy just didn’t deliver.

I had the worst sandwich of my life here and I’ve worked at Subway for over a year [yuck] Currently employed at Togos for three years now, this Jimmy Johns is disgusting. I ordered a turkey blt. Now I know that bacon comes pre cooked, but why in what world would you think serving cold bacon is okay? The length of the bread is a great size but the width is probably half of Subway. I’ve been to a JJ in Fresno that was great. This one, not so much. Yes there are teens working there, but cmon. It’s not rocket science. Also, what kind of mayo are you using? Jesus it is nasty. Ultra shredded lettuce for sandwiches is just mean guys but I know that’s up to corporate. Also, there were no date labels on any of the cookies in the front. Just dates from when it was shipped. My cookie happened to be ultra stale soft and my boyfriends hard as a freaking rock. Remember its 3 days after you pull the cookies from the fridge guys. Now I eat sandwiches from all over the place. Mr pickels bread is my favorite and Togos pastrami is the best and Subway has the best cookies. So I need you guys to man up and make delicious sandwiches. Not because you get paid minimum wage but because you want people to come back for the food, not for the convenience. Xoxo Rachel.

Jimmy John’s has disappointed once again, it’s true the back wall is lined with jars of Best Food Mayo. eats: Hunter Club #10(7.69) –¼# sliced rare fresh roast beef, provolone, lettuce, tomato, light mayo –club tasted refrigerator cold, virtually tasteless on cheap bread, lettuce noticeable. crumbs: –don’t get JJ’s mayo-based popularity, –not excited about vingeratte taste elsewhere either, better than mayo though. –service quick, a plus(lots of associates here).

Quality but plain. Nothing out of the ordinary. I had the Beach Club and while it was fresh and nice looking neither the taste nor presentation really wowed me. I have heard that mid west cuisine lacks in flavor… And that’s where this chain made its bones. I’m trying to find out what it is that makes people love it. Definitely going back a few more times because they are nice and helpful and I’m sure there has to be more to it…

Jimmy John’s, a sub sandwich joint that’s named after a guy with two first names. Jimmy and John, I don’t know if that’s the case or not, but I thought I’d just point out that little factor. Well anyway, here is my review and my first impressions of the business that’s been creating quite a buzz on Unilocal and outside of the Unilocaldom. To be honest the first time that I hard about Jimmy John’s Subs was last year when I was hanging out with a homie of mine. We had just got done having a wonderful sandwich at Ike’s Love and Sandwiches and my dude mentioned Jimmy John’s, I was at first like«Yo B, what does that have to do with the moment on hand, we just got done having deliciousness right here» but he later explained why he had brought up Jimmy John’s. He had mentioned aside from Ike’s he had loved going to a Jimmy John’s for his sandwich needs. But all the locations he had known of was in the south bay… that didn’t help me at all. So lets fast forward things a head a couple months. After the excitement and buzz of the new«The Habit» location opening off Concord Ave, I was excited to see what else was going to be added to this new little strip that is now in place of obviously defunct sushi restaurant R.I.P Tachi Sushi. But back to the review, Noodles and Company, cool, had the chance to visit and Unilocal about it. A insurance place. don’t need that right now and upon visiting the location on a different day… that is where I had a smile on my face as I seen electricians hanging the sign for what else… Jimmy John’s. Yea I had to call my homie and let him in on the good news, and he was pretty stoked about it just as I was. Well let’s skip ahead a little, I was in the mood for a sandwich, and based off of Unilocal reviews now from this place, and me working very close by, I decided that it was time to give this place that my friend ranted and raved about a try. Here is how I judge a sandwich establishment. I love tuna and I love hot and saucy. So I usually end up going for either or, me being on a fast from most proteins right now(poultry, red meat, pork) fish is still on the menu, and upon looking at their menu ahead of time, I know exactly what I wanted as soon as I stepped in. I opted for the«#15 aka Club Tuna»($ 7.29) a little bit bigger version(so they say) version of their standard«#3 Totally Tuna»($ 5.79) I ordered and of course for the Unilocaldom took some pictures for you all viewing pleasure. They made my order up pretty fast and then I took it to go to eat at work. Okay, now I was pretty hungry, and I couldn’t wait to taste this sandwich. Now I took my first bite, was I blown away… Not really, the tuna they use here is «chicken of the sea» which is a brand that I happen to like, but it tasted like they just took it out the can and poured it on my sandwich bread and called it just that. It could of for sure used a little more mayo and a bit more flavor, It was bland, I probably would skip on this one next visit. The bread roll they used was really good, it was soft yet firm and it really stood up to the tuna and all the ingredients. The lettuce was fresh and still crisp, and provolone cheese is another cheese that I like usually on my tuna sandwiches but because of the bland tuna salad it kinda got lost here. But I will not let this totally ruin my experience. In closing, Jimmy John’s is creating a buzz in the sandwich world. I like the décor here, all the little saying and quotes on the walls and tables, and I like that the sandwiches here are for the most part… simple. Nothing is too over the top and I can see how that works here. I can’t wait to try this place out again, and try something else. It’s located off Concord Ave, in the new strip with The Habit and Noodles and Company. Highway 680 is close by and for you that like to dine in, this location have plenty of seating to accommodate your needs. Trader Joe’s and Starbucks is also in the same shopping plaza if you need notable business to go off of. I say if you’re near, come here and then judge your own opinion. As always Unilocal your own opinion!

I’ve had the Italian style sandwich before, at a friend’s house. At that time, it was really tasty! Everything was fresh. Today, I tried their new location on Concord Avenue. The parking lot was a hassle! So many cars, very few available spaces. Once inside, I walked straight up to the register and placed my order. I opted to get the same Italian style sandwich, since it was so good the last time. Since I was busy with work, I got the sandwich to go. It was prepared quickly, much faster than I expected. But I was completely shocked when they handed me the wrap sandwich. Absolutely nothing else. No napkins, not even the offer of a bag to carry it in. Oh well, I was in a hurry so I grabbed it and made a quick dash back to the office. I was super hungry and as soon as I opened it, I was excited to take my first bite because it looked so scrumptious! I picked it up and was a little surprised to see that the bun was not cut through. It was like a hotdog bun with all the meats, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes shoved inside, sort of like a Subway sandwich. The ingredients were fresh, but it was so difficult to eat. I ended up tearing the bread apart and reassembling the sandwich so that I could eat it… like a regular sandwich and not a hot dog! It did satisfy my hunger pangs, and the ingredients were fresh, but I certainly wouldn’t call it gourmet! It’s a step above Subway and very similar to Togos. The price point is about the same as Togos as well. I don’t know if I’ll go rushing back, but I’ll keep this place in my hip pocket in case I need a quick sandwich in the future.

I do not get all the hype. It tasted like every deli sandwich I’ve ever had, no better than subway. If I was close by and really wanted a sandwich I would maybe go again but I’m never going to tell myself«I want Jimmy Johns for lunch today». Luigi’s across town by concord Bart is much better. Maybe I’m just picky, my girlfriend really enjoyed her sandwich. I’ll probably end up swinging by to get her food occasionally but probably not for myself.

Jimmy Johns has opened a new new location in Concord. I am a huge fan and have been eating their sandwiches since visiting a location in SLC, UT in 2009. If you are new to JJs, just a couple of things. If you are mayo sensitive, like I am, ask for no mayo. Even light mayo is always too much. Many times they will start making your sandwich before Yu even complete your order and pay, but don’t feel bad if you need to change something. The menu on the left is essentially the same as the right, it is just that the meat and cheese portion is smaller. Lastly, day old bread is $ 0.50 and is still amazing! What did I learn today? My wait has paid off. They are finally open!
