Java Detour

I love this little drive through coffee spot.
This place is just so fabulously convenient for those day’s I run out of coffee at home, and am too lazy to actually go into a store and purchase anything… thanks, Java.
The coffee is really quite good and they have a great selection of breakfast treats and sweet drink concoctions to choose from. The girls working the café are typically quite friendly as well, and the prices are not bad.
Looking forward to my next lazy drive through!

I used to come every morning but this one girl just ruins it for me. She has no type of barista professionalism. My coworker and I go a lot and without meaning to have both said she’s just looks. Dirty. Her BF comes often and I just have to sit and wait until they’re done socializing, she never wears a whole shirt, tummy always out, hair down all over the place, she’s literally eating as she’s taking my money and making drinks, not hiding it at all, chewing as she’s talking to me. Dealing with money and food I just can’t understand any of it. I guess it’s back to Starbucks.

The service is too slow in the morning! People are trying to get to work on time. Please train your staff to be more efficient.

This place always makes the best drinks and shows love to your fur babies. I love the recess blended drink. I wish Pittsburg had one. I guess I need to come out here more often. Oh my dogs also love the treats.

I now prefer Java detour over Starbucks. They offer a kids sized hot chocolate with a «whip stick» my son loves, so cute. Great service and great taste.

This place has gone down hill! And in a fast hurry. As a regular customer since they recently opened, I can honestly say I’m shocked at how quickly things have deteriorated, at this rate I can expect them to go out of business in the next year or so. When there’s two baristas and a car on each side where do you go? Well behind the car that’s closest to you right? Well wrong if it’s a friend of the baristas! The car on the opposite side left, I didn’t feel it was necessary to make a loop around as I figured the barista would walk out and take my order, since I was the only car there besides the car in front of me, who was already being taken care of by the other barista. Well to my surprise they both start talking to the car in front of me, one making the drinks, and the other leaning over the counter to talk. By now it had been 13 min! Well just as luck would have it another car gets there, I patiently watched to see what the girl would do, well no she didn’t walk out to place my order. I waited for the original girl to finish with her friend, by the time I rolled up I only got my husbands coffee. I really hope the girls who were working Monday morning ¹²⁄₇ shift would be retrained! My genuine advice for weever is running this place, mixed girl who has been there since they opened, and a slim Caucasian girl. Nonetheless I will not returning! With so many options for coffee in the area why bother with this type of behavior.

Great staff, great service! The breakfast sandwiches are very good. Coffee is good, nothing out of the ordinary. Mabie add a third employee to hurry things up. I cone here mainly due to location & racing the clock

This is my favorite coffee place! I’ve been coming since it opened and I always get great service from every employee! There usually is never a wait and if there is they will walk outside and ask you for your order. I would love if they had some kind of membership!

Waited 5 minutes this afternoon for someone to even greet me. I said «hello» yet the worker inside still did not acknowledge me. I ended up driving off as I was disappointed with my service, or lack thereof…

So annoyed that on 3 occasions now I have gone before starting my commute and nobody is there! The sign says they open at 5:30 but whoever is scheduled to work at that time has attendance issues. So if you need early morning coffee you may want to pick a more dependable spot, but if need mid morning coffee or afternoon then this is your place.

These folks are great. Every one of the workers. Friendly, polite. Yes I do like the coffee but the experience is always great.

I’m a fan of this place! The friendly service as well as good drinks keeps me a (new) loyal customer. So far my favorite is an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. Yum! I will have to try out more drinks but can’t get enough of the vanilla latte. They are dog friendly too, with dog treats on hand. Also I appreciated how the barista came out to my car to take my order during a long line.

My wife and our son love this place there not consistent with the way they make there drinks but we love this place. You need to go when the girls are there from 3 to 7 they make the drinks the best.

My and my boyfriend have become fans of this place since it’s at the end of our street. Love the $ 5 nightly happy hour, the wide variety of yummy and strong blended drinks, and super friendly quick service.
One annoying thing was I went by this morning at 5:45, says they open at 5am on the window yet no one was there. That kind of thing drives me a little crazy but that’s my only complaint!
One suggestion might be to add the ingredients in each drink somewhere on the menu (or maybe put it on a printed menu to give people) — I feel like I’m always asking what’s in every drink.

former Caffino spot now named «Java Detour». 2 baristas inside kiosk, one for each window. turned car around to free window, get instant service. had to get out of car to get coffee, car not aligned properly.
brew: light roast coffee (m. 2)
–after a few sips, it was fab, easy sipping.
–premium coffee, initial misgivings, usually don’t get light roast.
drips:
–menu easy to read, just looked for regular coffee.

This place is awesome! Friendly service, good strong coffee, and reasonable prices are why I stop here every morning to start my day. Erica and the crew have excellent attitudes and great customer service skills! Thanks for getting my day off to a good start, EVERYDAY!

Awesome service, great drinks!
They do take a little long for breakfast sandwiches (3−4min) but I think it’s because they separately toast the bread and use real eggs. It tastes great and I’m not complaining at all. Coffee comes out very fast.
Sweet cashiers that make small talk and are very pleasant. I stop by here once a week and it’s great. This is my go to quick coffee stop!

Just received awesome service here! Got 2 black & white mochas here. They were nice and tasty; my son and I both enjoyed them. I was really tired and had overpaid by a $ 5 bill without realizing it. The nice lady pointed it out and returned it. Love the honesty:)
