We own a mom and pop shop in Walnut Creek. We had to change the menu board and me and my wife are the worse person in terms if putting things together and working with tools. No one would take such a small job but Dan saved the day. He was very friendly, professional and accomodating. I also understand how hard it is for small businesses so support ine especially when you need ahandy man that knows what they are doing. Thanks again Dan

Due to the reviews on Unilocal I called Dan for a job that involved enlarging a space between kitchen cabinets. I am replacing my existing range and installing a new one that is slightly larger. I knew that the job would not be easy and needed to be perfect in order to look right.
He came in, looked over the space, and then discussed the various ways to do the job. We went with the modification he suggested. He took his time in order to do it right and it is perfect.
I am so impressed with his attention to detail, quality of work and fair pricing.
Before he left he assured me that if the new range did not fit perfectly, he would return (at no charge and make it right).
I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and to call him for any future work. What a pleasure to find someone reliable, affordable, and committed to making the customer happy.

Called Dan as my casement window wouldn’t close. Called Anderson & they wanted me to order the crank & parts. I wasn’t sure if that was the problem & I’m glad I went with my gut feeling.
Dan arrived, first oiled the parts & tightened some loose screws & it works perfectly.

Dan did a wonderful job and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I’ll be using him again!
I had gotten an estimate from another handyman service that seems out of bounds for the job needing to be done, including the «need» to replace all the parts and components. I called Dan and he understood exactly what I needed, got the job done quickly and neatly (cleaning up as he went), and not having to replace ANY parts.
The 1st guy said it would take about 2 days to complete; Dan finished everything in one hour !

Thanks to you Unilocalers I found Dan. I had a leaky sprinkler head in my backyard. I YouTubed how to fix it myself, and I just wasn’t familiar enough with the parts to take a chance (it wasn’t just replace the sprinkler head — go figure). Called Dan, he showed up on time, immediately went to work, had reasonable prices. He explained to me the possible causes, walked me through everything and made me feel comfortable with what he was going to do. He couldn’t find the part we needed, so he actually spent time building it. I no longer have a leaking sprinkler but I may have a new handyman.

I had a broken light socket hanging from a chain 10′ above the landing on my stair case. Dan helped me solve the problem in short order. Hanging the chain from a hook on the ceiling 20 ft above the landing was quite difficult without an extension ladder, but together we managed it.

Called Dan to see if he would be able to hang my tv. He said he could and even had some time today. I said perfect since it happened to be my day off. I forgot if I told him to come at 4 or 430. I called at 430 as I wasn’t sure and he said he was about to ring my door. Love that punctuality! After quickly hanging the TV, he helped me hang an awning in the backyard and gave me some other tips on how to finish the job. We’ve got some other things around the house to do so I’ll definitely give him a call again!

Dan was just the right man for the repair work I needed in my kitchen. He came on time to look at the job, gave me some ideas and then showed up to do the work on time, a few days later. He was creative in figuring out an economical solution to a cupboard that kept snapping shut and fixed a number of cupboard hinges that weren’t working properly — but he spared me the high cost of replacing the hinges which I appreciated. He worked quickly and efficiently and his pricing was very reasonable.

Dan arrived at my home on time and ready to work. He installed a faucet in my kitchen. I talked about other issue my home has and he was very informative, which I thought was great for me as a 1st time home owner. I found Dan to be trustworthy, reasonably priced and did a great job. No problem with the job he did for me a month ago. Im ready for my next project and will be calling Dan again.

One of my biggest concerns with looking for something like what Dan does is honesty and integrity. Well Dan seemed to allay those fears. Offered to come take a look and told me what to do. I went ahead and hired him to do it anyway and he did a wonderful job on my squeaky floor. Thanks Dan this won’t be the last time I use you… toilets are looking a little worn for the wear and need replacing soon.

Dan came over to our house and helped us do prep work on our bathroom for a refresh. He helped us with sanding down the vanity and the old, poorly textured (from the previous owners) drywall, patched a hole in a door, removing fixtures, and re-​caulked around the sink, bathtub, etc… He did a great job, worked hard, steady and solidly for the entire time he was here, was willing to work with my Husband to accomplish tasks, and gave good recommendations on how to accomplish the tasks that we were going to finish after his time with us. Would hire again.
