We’ve used Flooring city for our carpeting needs in our apartments for about 12 years. They do a good job. Don’t know how they due on installing plank flooring.

We recently used Flooring City to retile an kitchen /​dining area. The subcontractor that actually did the work (Jaime) was great. My issue is with Alex the owner. Alex had come to the house to measure the area to be tiled. He had originally told us one measurement, and then for some unknown reason, remeasured and told us the he had made a mistake and we needed to order an additional 4 boxes of tile, and submitted his estimate for the amount of tile ordered X cost per square /​ft.
I had measured the area several times, and the new measurement he was providing was nearly 30% greater than what I had measured and his original measurement. As a result we special ordered the tile, with the understanding we could return any unopened boxes and be refunded our purchase price less the cost of restocking and shipping.
We used none if the additional tile we ordered. when it came time to pay Alex, I told him I would pay $/​square ft X material handled, which is customary and was not paying him based on what he had us order. He tried to put the overage on us, and when that was unsuccessful, he took the check and left all of the garbage in our garage. I am left with the impression that Alex intentionally overestimated and expected to be paid based on the materials ordered.
I would be less pissed, if Just Floors, the company we ordered the tile from would have honored their return policy (which is another story) — — so as it stands now I have 4 boxes of tile, that I did not need, that cost $ 281, and unable to return.

I had a previous arrangement for another contractor (king family) to do my laminate flooring including the stairs but he backed out on the day he was supposed to do the work stating he had underestimated the work. Totally unprofessional. Fortunately I had flooring city through Frank and son referral come by a few days before just to get a second opinion and I’m glad I did. Alex from flooring city not only gave me a bid that was10% lower but also he kept his word. Alex did a wonderful job and the quality of work was exceptional. He installed a carpet/​laminate combo for the stairs that most contractors i called wouldnt even touch. He was friendly and upbeat every time I called and honored everything that his colleague promised even though it wasn’t in writing. The only thing negative I could say was he was a little late due to traffic, then again no one is perfect. Anyway don’t just take my word for it, see the pics.

Outstanding company… highly recommend them! We moved into a new place over a year ago and wanted to replace the carpet in the whole house. Flooring City worked with us and provided good options that were within our budget. Their pricing also included moving all of the furniture. They were efficient and we couldn’t have been happier with the job. Would use them in the future for any of our flooring needs!

I recently had my flooring replaced in a rental. I purchased the flooring from Flooring City and had my own contractor install it! What a mess! After 2 weeks the contractor finally fessed up that he was in“over his head” and walked away from the job. We threw our hands up and had no idea what to do. We called Flooring City in a panic! They sent 2 installers over to view the damage, and called us immediately to let us know they would send their best installers to fix the damage and reinstall the flooring… and it took them only 1 ½ days. I cannot thank Flooring City enough. I will ALWAYS use The them the future. Not only are they reliable, but they are dependable and trustworthy. Thank you Flooring City.

These folks have been helping us for 2 – 3 years now, with rentals and our own home. Great prcies, work with our schedule, and are on top of things. I like the direct contact and approach we have gotten, we look at their products, they give us a fair price and do nice work. I would recommend them over the big box stores, no hidden fees, no surprises, they are straight shooters. Alex is our Go To guy there.

I did the Lowes, Home Depot, Costco, etc. These companies farm out the work to contractors. Costco farms out the sales portion and the installer portion. Too many middlemen for me. If you research online you will see that a family run shop is your best bet, price and quality wise.
Flooring City is a competitive and competent family run business. They worked with me to get MY business, even beating the best online carpet mill pricing. They’re straight shooters and offer quailty products. They do all flooring types, a true one stop shop. Since they are a family business it’s all hands on deck, so if you give them a visit, make sure you walk out into the warehouse to say hi if you don’t see anyone. Tony and Esperanza are really classy folks.

Absolutely great customer service and home consultation. They provided excellent workmanship the day of installation and they were very punctual and helpful. Alex Arsedo was very helpful with suggestions and provided great floor samples as well.
My floors look beautiful and I would recommend them as my TOP CHOICE for any type of flooring or tile. Alex Esperanza and his staff are very professional and did a great on workmanship. I will definitely be back for future projects.

Alex, Esperanza, and the crew at Flooring City do outstanding work! First, they installed carpet and flooring throughout my house. They came in on the price as quoted and were very quick, efficient, and delivered professional results. Then, a week later, my boat needed a new floor so Alex ripped out the old carpet and installed a beautiful floor. Both jobs were done very quickly and professionally. I highly recommend Flooring City for any flooring project you have!

Heard great things about this place. My company and coworkers all have good experiences.
Stopped by Saturday. There was a woman busy in the loading area/​garage. I went into the showroom, there was nobody there. Looked around for 15 minutes or so, called out «hello» a few times. Never got a reply, never saw anyone. No one was in garage area near parking when I left.
So, can’t evaluate their flooring products or installations — but initial impressions and showroom services are LACKING!
