Evergreen Services is a worker-owned cooperative started by low income members of the Monument community in Concord, Ca. Their goal is to provide quality, eco-friendly services to the community and to create living wage jobs in a safe and healthy environment to support their families.
History
Established in 2010.
Evergreen Services was started by the Michael Chavez Center, a nonprofit organization serving the Monument community of Concord, Ca. Low-income day laborers decided to take their futures into their own hands and start a cooperative that they collectively own and operate in order to create a prosperous future for them and their families.
