Deb’s Doggie Daycare & Boarding

Deb takes great care of my sister’s dog Harry and they’re very flexible and try to work with you when unexpected circumstances happen.

No one is more picky or careful than my wife and me when it comes to caring for our 8 pound GiGi — a tiny Chihuahua/​Papillon mix. We pamper & spoil her intensely.
We adopted her from the San Francisco shelter several months after booking a 16 day trip to Kauai. Relatives, neighbors, and friends offered to watch her but each had busy lives and challenges to that working well.
Luckily, we found Deb & Ron who were even more picky than us and professionally tooled up to provide the 24X7 attention GiGi was used to!
Deb doesn’t accept every dog. Health requirements, temperament, and sociability must meet her high standards. Her home is super safe with double gated entrances and yard perimeters double fenced. Ron and Deb are meticulous, look-​you-​in-​the-​eye people who exude a genuine joy and energy for caring for small dogs.
We received detailed Report Cards while away. Those assured us GiGi received her flea & heartworm meds when due, was fed correctly, and got her special treats. We learned of the many new dog friends she made along the way. GiGi even slept in their bed like at home with us. Wonderful!
It went so well we are arranging for GiGi to have regular day visits for the social interaction of playing with other small dogs in a totally safe, controlled environment we trust.

Deb and Ron are the absolute best. I’ve had my Shih Tzu Cookie Monster (Cookie for short) for about 3 months now and am so overprotective of him so when it came time for hubby and I to go out of town, I wanted nothing but the best for my Cookie. Of course the first thing I did was begin my search with Unilocal and I couldn’t believe some of the horror stories I came across with other places. Then I came to Deb’s listing. Perfect 5 stars and recent reviews at that? Too good to be true! Boy was I wrong. During my first phone call with Deb, I knew this was the place. She is extremely knowledgeable and her passion for poochies shines through so brightly. I really appreciate her requirements for pet health which is not just for her sake, but for every pet owner and pet’s sake as well. She also provides recommendations for all of your pet needs from food to vets to collars and toys. I loved the meet & greet and how carefully she watches how your pet interacts with others. I felt priviledged my little Cookie was accepted :). She only allows for small breeds and only a certain number of dogs at one time which I also love. There are no cages or mass kennels; each dog is free to play on the huge yard or rome the house as they wish. She sends daily emails of our dog’s activities, eating and behavior which is sooo important when you’re away. Our little one always comes homes flat out exhausted from the constant fun he has! Her prices are very reasonable, her service is impeccable and location couldn’t be better (5 mins from my house). I will definitely continue to bring Cookie here whenever I’m out of town or even just so he can go play for a day. Deb and Ron are rockstars in my book! Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

There is no better place for your little one than Debs doggy daycare. Deb and Ron are such great people and truly love the dogs that come stay with them. Just got back from a week long trip and they had my little buddy Frank the whole time. He had a ball. I received daily updates on the fun he was having and the additional training they were doing with him while I was gone. All I need to say to frank is «wanna go see deb «and he is fired up. When I pick him up he is happy and worn out from a full day of play. I can’t say enough good things about Debs. If you have a small dog, this is absolutely your place. Unilocal should give the opportunity for 10 stars because Deb and Ron deserve all 10.

Simply put Deb’s Doggy Daycare is the best. Our dog Minka has been lucky enough to go there since the beginning of the year starting from when she was a pup. Minka is very well socialized and an angel to take to dog parks and other places where I know there will be lots of new people and pets. I accredit a HUGE chunk of that to her daycare. But best of all, it feels so good knowing you left your pet in the best hands possible next to your own. Debs and Ron are both sweet, gentle, and obvious animal lovers. We are extremely lucky to have Deb’s Doggy Daycare.

I did some research to board our doggie before we left on vacation for 9 days. When I met Deb I felt at ease, she was very welcoming and I liked how she told me that the dogs are allowed anywhere in her house, she has a huge yard that my dog loved. Deb was awesome, she kept us updated by email on how our doggie was doing. My dog loved being there and had a great time with all the other dogs. I highly recommend Deb’s Doggie daycare :)

All I have to do is say, «wanna go to doggie daycare?» and he is up, jumping around, doing circles and running to the door. I can’t imagine taking him anywhere else. We’ve had him stay overnight and when we pick him up he is as happy as when we he was dropped off.
I can’t say enough good things about Deb’s. Plus she will sometimes send photos of CB playing with his friends. And the added bonus for us, is he is exhausted when he comes home. With his high energy, that’s a treat.

This place is fantastic! Deb’s is the best doggie day care that our little one not only prefers, but enjoys daily! Athena, our Shiba Inu, comes home happy, relaxed, and ready to sleep at the end of the day. After being recommended by a friend of ours, we would not choose another doggie day care if we had a choice! Prices are great for the excellent services provided and everyone at Deb’s is friendly and knows our little one. Grooming, boarding, and other services have all been extraordinary! Out little one is happy so we are happy! What a great combination!

Unfortunately, Deb’s is at capacity! I didn’t get to use her service, but based on my conversation with her, all her good reviews were warranted. She was kind, and recommended other dog sitters that could help me out, which was very nice considering she was’nt going to be profiting from helping me.

My husband and I had such reservation about leaving our little dog but we needed some time away. So we began looking into the options for care of our dog. We decided that our dog needed socialization and activity so she wouldn’t pine away for us while we were gone. When I contacted Deb I was delighted but her professionalism and friendliness in asking lots of questions. After setting up a interview time we talked about everything, or so it seemed. Then came the meet and greet and went with my dog to visit. It was a great visit and my dog liked most of the dogs and seemed to do well. We dropped our dog off and knew she was in wonderful caring hands. We could hardly wait for our 1^st report card from Deb on how our dog was doing. We were thrilled to here the newsy items that occurred that day along with pictures that really were an extra treat. We were able to relax and have a wonderful time knowing our dog was being taken care of by someone who really loves and cares for dogs so well. About half way through our vacation we learned in the latest report card that our dog had made special friends with another and that they had played for 2 solid hours! So now we take our dog over once a week so she can have a play day with her special friend. Deb’s Doggie Daycare is such a blessing there really is not adequate words to describe how terrific it is. We are just so thrilled that we found this treasure!

We love you Deb and Ron! There is not much more I can say that hasn’t already been written about Deb’s Doggie Daycare. Please read the reviews and you’ll understand why. If you are considering daycare or boarding for your bundle of fur, we give you our HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.
We are proud parents of a very spoiled and overprotected Shih Tzu named Gizmo. Honestly, I’ve never felt more relaxed and guilt-​free when I drop Gizmo off at Deb’s. This feeling is priceless!

FIVE STARS IS NOT QUITE ENOUGH FOR DEB’S DOGGIE DAYCARE. SHE DESERVES A ¹⁰⁄₅!
If anyone is considering Deb and has some time, PLEASE read this review, you will be AMAZED and will FIGHT for Deb to watch your little loved one.
I have a little 5 lb Yorkie named Zeus. He is my complete life. He has my heart, my soul, he’s MY BABY. Like others on here, I’ve searched EXTENSIVELY for a GREAT daycare sitter because anything LESS FIVE STARS is not adequate for my little one. When I first contacted Deb, I had a little trouble getting ahold of her, I think its because my phone number is from Southern California so I left a message. I promptly received a phone call from her and we talked. **WHEN YOU CONTACT HER, MAKE TIME BECAUSE SHE WILL GIVE YOU A PHONE INTERVIEW. She went through the basics, asking questions about my baby, and I can tell she was taking notes and really paying attention. She really wants to make sure your dog is FIT with her group of dogs so you don’t waste your time and so you have a good experience with the meet and greet. I would say because I have so much to say about Zeus, we talked for about an hour to hour and half. She’s very thorough and I appreciated every little of it.
So finally, we set a date for a meet and greet with Deb, but unfortunately things were happening with work that I couldn’t get out of, so I had to postpone the meet and greet with Deb a few times, BUT SHE WAS SO FLEXIBLE! AS LONG AS YOU GIVE HER NOTICE. Her husband, RON, takes the day off to stay with the dogs while Deb is with you, making sure you and your pup are acclimated. It’s amazing how she will NEVER let the dogs be on their own.
The day finally came and fortunately, my passed ALL the test that Deb through at him. She REALLY makes sure that your dog is a great fit for her group. I felt like I was enrolling my child into pre-​school and I loved every bit of it. She takes out the dogs one by one, letting both dogs have an easy introduction. Everything went well and I immediately wanted to sign the papers. She has a formal contract of her promises to you and what she expects of you as the owner. She’s very formal in that sense and organized. You will get copies of all papers you sign that day, if you like.
I immediately signed Zeus up for a 5 day overnight package, and when i dropped him off, with ALL my little needs and knick knacks for Deb, she accommodated them all. She feeds them breakfast, lunch and dinner. Of course, every dog is different and Deb does really well tending to them all.
It was only last weekend that I dropped Zeus off for his second stay at Deb’s house, for three days. Deb does wonderfully with daily report cards and takes pictures of your dog. Being the controlling mother that I am, I enjoy them and take the time to read it. It really makes my day. I picked Zeus up on Monday, and unfortunately, that Wednesday he went missing. My roommate had left the door open and the gate open and he got out. I have been going crazy and Deb had called me or I had called her and I told her what happened. She had barely gotten to know Zeus and immediately her and her wonderful Ron have helped me tremendously. They immediately helped me put up Posters of Zeus, all along the way that he was said to be seen. Because of Ron’s quick efforts, I immediately started to get phone calls. Unfortunately the lead I received was misinformed and another witness told me the correct information. Zeus was headed the opposite direction. When I told Deb that, she suggested we get more news out and since I’m not from here, Ron was at the Flea Market getting the word out about Zeus with flyers and what not. I then received a LEAD witness and he was last seen on Friday, December 2^nd at around 2pm going ONTO the OFF ramp freeway of the 242 freeway, clayton exit.
It is because of Deb and Ron’s efforts that I have the information I have. Even today, I found out that Ron immediately put up flyers in the surrounding area, going onto the off ramp himself calling his name.
I barely know Deb but I feel like I was meant to meet her. Deb and Ron are probably one of the most sincere, genuine, and kind people I have ever met. There is NO way I would be as far as where I am with Zeus’s case without them. She TRULY cares for your pets. She treats them as HER OWN.
Zeus is still missing til this day, but if I ever get him back, there is no one I could ever trust watching him. Deb is my savior and Ron is beyond AMAZING. I’m telling you. You can’t get better than Deb, she’s the best out there. She even got one of her clients to help me, HI BRENDA! Brenda came over to help me with posters and I honestly thank any leads toward Zeus to Ron and Deb.
Thank you so much. I will keep you posted about my dog, but until then, I ONLY recommend Deb. There seriously is no one better. If you’re lucky to get into her exclusive club, WELCOME to the family.

I think I am Deb’s biggest fan. I have been leaving my dog with her for about 6 months. I drop him off in the morning once a week. I can honestly say that I never feel guilty leaving my dog with deb because he loves going there. His little tail starts wagging when we turn onto her street and he jets to her door from my car.
She loves my dog almost as much as I do and that’s why I can sincerely recommend her doggy day care services.
My onlyhesitation in writing this is if word gets out about her she may get too busy to be able to take my dog on a whim. But in the end she deserves a great review for being awesome.

We researched boarding options pretty extensively on Unilocal before finally deciding on Deb’s Doggie Daycare. Anything less than a 5 star rating across the board is pretty much not an option for our little guy.
Picked up our little guy this afternoon after a 2 night stay with Deb… her 5 star rating is well-​deserved!

Suzanne, I believe my Bailey has already met your puppy! And loves Deb’s just as much.
We’d only had Bailey for a month, but immediately found out she has some separation issues. So, in all our searching, my husband found Deb.
Deb’s rates are super reasonable, especially considering how flexible she is. Bailey comes home happy and tired from all her playing every day… and we can tell a big difference in her behavior towards us and other dogs, since she is getting all the socialization a dog could want or need.

We sent our 1 year old Jack Russell to Deb’s Doggie Day Care for 5 nights while on vacation. Deb made the separation as painless as possible. She introduces new dogs 1 at a time in a place that each dog feels comfortable. She spends quite a bit of time meeting you and your dog so everyone is comfortable. While away we got a daily update and picture to let us know how he was doing. And when our little guy got picked up he got his very own report card!

I feel so lucky to have found Deb! She has created a warm and playfull environment for my sweet puppy Rosey. I never thought I would send my dog to daycare. After falling madly in love with my nine month old puppy I did not have the heart to leave her at home while I was at work. Deb’s prices are very reasonable and her house is always emaculate which is a mystery to me with her little dog pack in toe. I look forward to getting a detailed report card of Rosey’s adventures at Deb’s which she creates daily, «You will not believe it until you see her report cards». I can tell a difference in Rosey’s behavior after bringing her to daycare. She has become more socialized to other dogs and is learning to play with other dogs. When I pick her up she is always exhausted from all the playtime with Deb. It is so nice to have an excercised dog to come home to rather than a hyper lonely dog that is needy of my attention. Considering Rosey as a testiment to Deb I can tell she loves her becasue when we pull up to her house she starts to jump up on my lamp trying to get out of the car to see her friend Deb!

I highly recommend Deb’s Doggie Daycare. Deb and Ron have 2 dogs of their own and know how to handle various dog breeds. The daycare is bright and clean. The dogs can be indoors and outside in the huge back yard. Deb also does some behavioral training, plays with the dogs and makes sure they are safe and comfortable. Our dog, Sasha, loves to go and spend all day playing and having fun with her other dog friends. I’m currently abroad and Deb e-​mails be Sasha’s daily report card, with some additional information. It’s so great to have this, and know that my dog is well while I’m away. As an added bonus, Deb’s rates are reasonable, and her combination of daycare and boarding is great, because now my dog has a place she already knows, should I ever have to board her.
