I finally found a place that really cares and understands what I want

I have gotten my hair cut here several times and can honestly say each time it had been significantly better than my old $ 40 cuts from a different place. last year I took a risk and chopped off my long hair and they made the experience really comfortable and my hair came out great!

The place and the complex doesn’t look fancy, but the lady who cut my hair did an awesome job! Will be going there again.

Lan @ ‘Cute Cuts,’ once again did a very-​very nice job. She is ‘my go to’ for a ‘cut & color.’ I would recommend her & ‘Cute Cuts’ to anyone. RGJW.

For the price, cant be beat! Lan cuts my WHOLE family’s hair. Gave my son and daughter their first haircuts (now 3 and 1.5). Great with little kids! Cuts my hair, my husband, and my parents! I’ve paid $ 40 for what Lan does at $ 20 (including tip). Recommend!

I’m updating my review because I personally saw Lan for a cut and color. I’ve been going to another stylist in Walnut Creek. At first I really liked the stylist and she does a great highlight but I didn’t think that her cuts were all that great.
I made an appt. w/​Lan to get my hair cut and an overall color. Lan informed me my hair was uneven and while the color was good my grays were too much for just a highlight job. I always felt like my hair was super heavy and I needed some texturizing done so it didn’t look like I just had a mop on my head. Lan gave me a sample of shampoo and conditioner when I told her my hair wasn’t soft and lo and behold my hair feels super soft and I just love the color!
After I got my hair done I brought my twins again for their cuts and she informed me that she read my review and thanked me with a free haircut for one of my twins. I LOVE that she gives great customer service!

After leaving a review and a tip on Unilocal the manager did contact me in regards to my review. She wanted to make things right and give them another chance. Her contacting me really shows that they do care about their business and are trying to fix and have better customer service.
The prices for men/​boys hair cut is very reasonable ($ 10) and do a great job at it. I do recommend for those in the surrounding neighborhood and if something goes sour I encourage those to speak up so the business has a chance to fix it. All and all its a great place!

Visited ⁴⁄₂₈ in the afternoon. Did OK cutting my toddler son’s hair. Charge was supposed to be $ 10, but cashier rang up $ 14. I pointed to the posted price. The cashier lamely claimed that the upcharge was due to the tiny amount of product they put in my kid’s hair. That is some expensive product. I generally prefer to be advised of upcharges upfront. If they had told me they were going to charge me $ 4 for a dab of mousse, I would have declined. I didn’t argue; the excess just came out of the stylist’s tip, but the negative experience of the swindle will discourage me from my returning.

Worst place ever! I have told them twice not to cut the top of my hair and yet they did. I might as well been speaking Greek. I will never go there again. There’s a place in the Safeway shopping center that I heard of that treats their customers better and LISTENS to them!

Took my toddler here, they made a usually tough task seem like a breeze and they’re much better priced than other places.

I come by here a few times when I visit the mall close by and last week I brought my niece. Sadly when I was there the experience threw me off and as I told my niece she actually wrote a terrible review on here! Sorry Lan! I am on her account and removed it and here is my REAL review. First off on the day I was going to get a trim and cut my niece’s bangs but on that day I saw you pretty rudely telling off your employee for a hair cut (?) she was so stubborn after seeing such a scene since she has had some problems with her boss, she angrily vented it on your shop. I don’t know the argument between you and your employee but we both assumed the worse. Sorry. I tried to call but no one would answer the phone. Once again sorry for the trouble because you always give me nice trims and great haircuts! I highly recommend this place for excellent service while getting ready to go to the Sunvalley mall or 99 cent store haha. I’ll definitely bring her again to apologize sorry for the trouble Lan. I’m pretty embarrass to use my own account since I reviewed on here and I don’t want to edit it. Merry Christmas! I’ll bring others too! :)

I have been getting my haircuts at Cute Cuts in Concord, CA, since it first opened 8 — 9 years ago. I always believed in passing on a great eating place or great service provider when I discover one or am referred to one. For haircuts, Lan (stylist) at Cute Cuts is wonderful, I keep coming back to her, simply because she is great at what she does and loves her craft. The service and pricing are 5 star.

I have been going to Cute Cuts with my two kids for several years now and they are really good. My daughters hair is challenging to cut and Lan always does an excellent job. Both my kids enjoy going because Lan is so nice with them. Thank you!

Luke and I get our haircuts here every few weeks and they always do a great job. My wife thinks they do a great job and she is super picky. I highly recommend them.

This is a great salon. My family and I get our haircuts here, we just absolutely love how it turns out. All the hairstylist are great and listen to what you want. You just have to bring in a picture of what you are looking for and they can do the hairstyle to a T. Phong is great at doing women’s short haircuts. I love my hair and will be going nowhere else for now on. The prices are great! $ 10 for my son and husband’s cut, my haircut $ 15. Which you can’t beat that. I recommend to give this salon a try. They also offer waxing services and facials.

$ 10 cash (+ tip), and you’ll have the cleanest haircut in town. Brought my bf here for a drop-​in on a Sunday afternoon, and he was taken immediately. Kind of a small location, but they have interesting style books and kids’ toys if you’re just waiting. 5 stars for his rave review — the most tender hands and detailed haircut he’s gotten in years! She cleaned up the front and around his ears with scissors, and didn’t nick him at all — he’s left other salons bleeding when they graze over the moles on his head. We’ll be back here for sure!
Also — I gotta say, he’s MUCH more cute now that he has such a great haircut! ;-)

Best ten dollar haircut in town for a man… And his kid. Or anyone who doesn’t wanna spend 25 $ to have them rub a trimmer across your skull for 15 minutes

Lan did a fantastic job on my haircut today. She was fast, efficient, and did the job right… she nailed exactly how I like getting my haircut.
The only reason why I can’t rate 5 stars is, its way too small, and a little dirty in there. Not filthy by any means. I can just imagine how hot and humid it will be in there this summer. The waiting area is a little too close to one of the salon chairs for my comfort, imho.
Otherwise, if you aren’t claustrophobic, this is a great spot to get a men’s haircut at $ 10.
