i’ve take my mother here a few times for hair cuts. she was very pleased with the haircut and the sylist is very nice, but my mother said the sylist used the same comb on her hair that she used on previous customer. also, she dropped the comb on the floor, picked it up, and went on combin her hair with it. ewwwww…that’s our last tip there!

Ditto Caro S’s review… for many years can not figure how she remains in business and yes the wigs on display are older than dirt … yucky She needs to go to a few charm school sessions, no customer service there. Just a mean cranky attitude.

No wonder they have no reviews– they close at 4pm! So I had a last minute costume change for Halloween and was in desperate need of a hot red head wig a-la Jessica Rabbit. I found one at another store that I thought looked good until I took it home and realized it was more Daphne from Scooby Doo than Jessica Rabbit. So the day before Halloween I called Wig and Hair Design to see if they had something that would fit the bill. The woman who answered was extremely short and sounded annoyed with my questions, she stated that they had the wig I was looking for but would not hold it for me. So I rushed down to the store. I walked in and the smell of perm nearly knocked me out. A short blonde woman approached me. I asked her if the selection out front was all they had. She answered ‘yes’ with a bit of attitude(tipping me off to the fact that she was the one I talked to on the phone). The selection was pretty slim, less than 40 wigs. Some looked like they had been waiting for an owner since the 70’s. Eek! I picked the one closest to what I was looking for. The women took me to the back and had me take a seat. She stated my hair was too thick and would not fit under the wig. Hmm… that’s funny none of the other wig stores had that complaint. I told her I have used plenty of wigs and that it should work just fine. She put the wig on all annoyed and when I tried to guide her she responded«that’s not how I do it!» HATER! The wig looked ratty and wasn’t the best quality(looked more like Halloween store quality). I started to push the bangs to the side and she scolded me stating that anyone who bought it would want bangs. She then proceeded to push the bangs back into my eyes! RUDE! I asked for the price. $ 65. What?!? This lady is crazy! I said no thanks and walked out. I will never again visit this place. If you want a good selection of wigs at an affordable price with great customer service go to Young’s Wigs in Antioch.

everytime i go i feel like a million bucks, lol. she listens to how i want my hair to be done and does a great job at it. also, the customers rave about the latina stylist w/her wig & hair treatments. they’re both high quality in my book
