This place gets really busy, especially after 3. This is my place to go to sell all my aluminum cans and plastic bottles. The main reason I like this place is because I don’t need to removed the caps from the plastic bottles. And if you have all your recycle sorted out in bags, they will weight them out right away. Note: You need a valid CA driver’s license to pick up the money.

Be prepared to wait. Visiting this center is an exercise in patience. The handlers seemed rather frustrated that I would bring in less than a truck load of materials, and refused to count my bottles. They also refused to take some of my plastic bottles, even though they had«CACRV» printed on them. All in all, I walked away feeling I had wasted an hour of my life, and lost 25% of my deposit to their«weighing». I miss the self service recycling centers of the midwest.

This place is a joke. I brought in 24 lbs worth of copper. The workers cannot communicate in English properly, i couldn’t find any information as to how much I would be getting until afterwards… Being in a desperate situation i went for it only to find out when I got the receipt the weighed it at 9 lbs. An item i could’ve sold on Craigslist for 80 dollars i got 25.82 for. When I came back they already scrapped it before the 3 day period. This place isn’t even holding onto the items for 3 days they scrap them before your even paid… Bad business practices

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. We came here because it was a saturday & it was the only place we could confirm was open. when we called the woman, who was very polite, said to come on down! we will never want to go anywhere else, she said. She also didn’t mention that we had to separate our light from heavy, nor did the workers there. We had 3600 lbs of scrap metal, 90% heavy. First, they tried to say that we had mostly light metal, so they were going to pay is for 100% light. The only light metal was a small truck bed. I had no idea that a small truck bed weighed 3,200 lbs. ANYWAY! After a lot of calls back & forth, we got them to 80% Heavy. For 3,600 lbs, we got $ 249.78. We will not be coming back to a place like this. The woman behind us in line also said this was her last trip as they were holding her check until March because they said her copper was stolen. Just another way to try & screw customers. Well screw them!
