Concord Locksmith has been family owned and operated since 1947. We offer professional and friendly service at reasonable prices. Our shop is conveniently located in downtown Concord. We are honest and reliable and strive to provide you with excellent customer service.

We specialize in rekeys, hardware installation, lockout services, and key duplication and replacement. We sell and service commercial lock hardware and master key systems. We can duplicate laser cut and program transponder high security keys and remotes. We service, sell and rekey auto locks. We also provide and install Access Control Systems and CCTV Systems. We carry a variety of safes in our store and will deliver free to local areas.

Established in 1947.

Being in business for over 65 years we have established relationships with many local businesses and residents. Our family oriented atmosphere along with our reputation built on trust lets our customers feel comfortable putting their safety in our hands. Our locksmith technicians are licensed and bonded with the State of California Department of Justice. They are fingerprinted and must pass a background check.

Business Owner

Sam became a locksmith in the Navy in the 1980’s. After his honorable discharge he came to work for Concord Locksmith; and several years later he bought the business from long-​time family friends. Sam and our other locksmiths are licensed and bonded and continually take classes to keep up with the technology in this ever changing industry. As locksmiths licensed with the State of California, all our technicians are fingerprinted and must pass a background check.

These people are awesome and very friendly. A guy named Leo helped me with some spare keys for my motorcycle. He went over and above to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I will be going back for keys for my other bike. The price was right too. Have no complaints.

Came in to get a copy of my 4Runner key. I tried getting it copied at another locksmith in Concord previously, and after two attempts the first place was unable to make a working key.
Concord Locksmith was able to make the key properly on the first try. The locksmith also came out to my truck with me and made sure that it would work before charging me. He also lubricated the drivers door keyway as well. Great service!

Gave them a try one day because I needed some keys made. They did a great job making keys for my bikes nobody else could make.

The staff is friendly, the place is neat and clean. I always can get a parking spot.

It was late evening and my sister locked herself out of the house and was stuck in the backyard with no way to get around the front of the house. She called me not knowing what to do and none of us had a spare key to her place. I called Concord Locksmith and they sent someone out in 30 minutes. Took them less than two minutes to get the front door open so I could rescue her from the backyard. I was very impressed. Thank you guys so much, my sister and I are very grateful!

After the last 6.0 earthquake in Napa, my non-​deadbolt lock would no longer lock on my front door. Only the deadbolt would lock, and that left me having lots of sleepless nights. Tonight Michael came out and changed my non-​working lock to a deadbolt keyed alike to the existing deadbolt and he put a handle on inside the door so I can easily open the door from the inside. Crooks won’t try to break in now with double deadbolts! And I will be able to sleep at night.
Now I know if this happens to another door what to do to solve the problem. Whew! So relieved. Thank you!

What a pleasure working with these guys.
Came in on Friday afternoon for an estimate and was told Tuesday was the earliest they could do it. I explained I was heading out of state Monday at noon. They made a call and rearranged their schedules if I promise to be there first thing Monday morning. I arrived early and they got on it and was done in great time. Sam is the man! The pricing was good and the workmanship great ! Highly recommend them.

I can’t even begin to tell you how grateful I am for this place! I accidentally locked my dogs in my car with my keys on a Really hot day and they were at my house in 10 minutes. Their customer service is excellent. The lady on the phone was very empathetic and the guy who came to open my car was diligent and didn’t waste any time.
I’m so thankful that they saved my poor doggies from the heat!

Excellent! Needed 2 transponder keys made for my 2004 cobra which the dealer wanted 120 dollars to make, they did it for 50 bucks and the third key free, they all worked and in under a half hour, I would recommend these guys to anyone needing transponder keys made or any lock related matter…

I walked in today with a car key that was extremely worn down. They were unable to do anything with that key, and ended up having to look up the information online. Within twenty minutes they had everything they needed, and I had a brand new key. Everyone in the shop was friendly and courteous, they were also incredibly fast. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone for locksmith needs.

Recently I needed to have new locks placed on 2 of the doors that Concord Locksmith previously worked on. When their tech worked on the locks he told me that the locks were rusty & that he couldn’t change all of them (each door had 2 locks, the tech said he could only repair 1 lock on each).
Still smarting from my previous encounter, this time I called Fred’s Lock Maintenance & Service. Fred answered the phone, gave me his prices & told me that he could come by within 45 minutes after he finished another job that he was working.
He showed up on time & he even fixed the locks that Concord Locksmith told me were inoperable. I know who I won’t call for locksmith work from now on!

When you are in a bind and then someone like Daniel comes rolling up at 430 to save the day…5 stars.
He was quick, professional, and even taught me a little about locks. An unsung hero who has probably saved the days of many people, but does not get the recognition he deserves.
In addition, the young lady I spoke with on the phone was also on my side workign to find a person to come out and help me deal with a door that would not lock. She was calm, proactive, and very communicative in making sure all parties involved were on the same page and had the same expectations.
So — my hat off to Daniel, the young lady on the phone organizing resources, and the team and Concord Locksmith. Because of you, I get to rest easy knowing my business door is not open over night till the morning.

Quick and honest work. We called, they quoted us a good price on the phone, and were on time within 30 minutes. Guy came and did what he was supposed to do and left within 10 – 15 minutes. Easiest money he could make. When you do your job right the first time, saves hassle on both parties. Thank goodness for the $ 25 voucher they offer!

Nicest people ever! I have been frustrated because my lock on my front door basically doesn’t want to let me in my own house. Well. it does, but then it doesn’t want to give me my keys back :) I called Concord Locksmith in frustration. The woman on the other line was like a therapist, listening to me moan and groan. She told me that it sounded like i just needed to lubricate the lock, but that my other deadbolt issue might require a tech. We scheduled time for a few days out, and then she found me an appointment for the next day.
I stopped by Concord Locksmith for the oil she suggested, and the guy there Tim was super friendly. He told me that I should go home and try the oil, and call them if that fixed my problem so I could avoid the service charge. Sure enough, that did the trick. I was really happy that my problem cost me $ 9 instead of $ 90, and that they were honest about a solution instead of just sending someone out to my house.
Thank you, I will definitely do business here if I ever need it again!

So we’re in the truck ready to pull out of the driveway to hit the road for Southern California, and my husband realizes he forgot something.
Hubby: I’m just gonna run inside real quick.
Me: I locked the door in the garage… you’ll have to go in the front door.
H: Why’d you lock that door?
M: Added measure of security… Why?
H: I don’t have my house keys!
M: WHAT? Neither do I! Why don’t you have your house keys? You’re the one driving! How come they’re not on your key ring!??
H: Why don’t you have YOURS?
Long story short, 40 minutes later and $ 95 poorer (before even leaving the driveway), we were on the road and we had ourselves a brand new house key. Thank you Concord Locksmith for coming so quickly.
