My family hosted an event here over the summer, and I have to say it was great! The facilities were spotless. The space is generic enough to be decorated and transformed nicely to accommodate any type of event. They have huge screens and speakers to accommodate personalized Audio Video needs. Huge fridges and a full kitchen for usage. An attractive and sunny entrance sitting area adds to the welcoming vibe. Also not hating the occasional glimpse of hunky firefighters strutting about. Ice makers, coffee brewers and room dividers are available to accommodate events and personalize your space. There are so many options to uniquely make this space your own. Parking isn’t abundant, but okay. Location is directly situated behind the airport and right off of Poplar Tent, and I 85. Really can’t say enough good things about it. Not a standard community center by any means. I’m thrilled there is an affordable option close by for Concordians to gather.

The fire station has a community room that is used on occasion for Toastmasters contests. The room is spacious and accommodating and there is a small kitchen for food accommodations. On my last visit, however, the room was pretty warm. I suppose the transition from Summer to Fall can be a bit confusing when it is cold one day and warm the next. In any case, this is a great facility for the community to use as a spot to come together.
