Established in 2006.

Founded by Justin K., CAL TEC Electrical Systems is a Concord based team of highly skilled, certified and talented electricians who serve the Tri County area of Contra Costa, Alameda and Solano. Not only do we have great knowledge about electrical installations troubleshooting and repair we also have 20 years of extensive code knowledge that separates us from other contractors and technicians trying to just turn a quick buck. It is this dedication, skill and knowledge that makes us the experts at what we do. From simple repairs to large scale projects CAL TEC Electrical Systems is there to help guide you through to the end of your project with efficiency, quality and reliability. Our technicians take the time to understand your needs, even if you don’t completely understand them yourself, and we work with all of our customers to develop solutions that last longer and perform better at a price you can afford.

Business Owner

I am a 3^rd generation tradesman in my family. My grandfather was a naval electrician in WWII as well as a general contractor. My father is a retired building inspector (over 30 years in service) and currently a general contractor. Two of my uncles and my cousin are also electricians in the I.B.E.W. (uncles are retired). I also have an uncle that does electrical work for military bases. I started my interest in the electrical field when I was in high school where I took three years of electronics. Following high school I worked in the Pac Bell switch offices around the Bay Area for a short time before I joined the I.B.E.W. In 2006 I made the decision to branch out on my own.
