ASAP Heating & Cooling

Our heater stopped working on 1÷21÷16, so I called ASAP Heating & Cooling, and talked to Curtis. We scheduled the next day for 11am to noon window. The next day, I had a tight time schedule, so I really appreciated that Curtis texted me his updates of when he would be here. I watched as he did his diligent diagnostic work. I appreciated that he was happy to tell me what he was doing. He showed me the exact problem and fixed it on the spot. Yeah! And he charged a very reasonable price for his knowledge and skills. All in all, Curtis is a good guy. He’s trustworthy. I would hire him again.

These guys are great. Honest, hard working guys. Will give you honest opinions about what needs to be done and will find ways to keep costs in-​check and not run up the bill. Highly recommend.

My Bryant furnace stopped working on Wednesday morning. Wednesday afternoon, ASAP showed up, checked out my furnace, and in 5 minutes was done (some clogged tubes was all it was). No charge for the visit. Couldn’t ask for more.

Curtis is fantastic! Super friendly, super fast and so knowledgable as he gives advice about how to fix the problem. He is honest and straight forward, such a wonderful way to conduct business! I would give him more than 5 stars if it were possible. He comes to your house to really help, he will not convince you to spend more money than what is needed. I’d like to start it off with the fact that Curtis got to my house the day I called talk about ASAP. I called a number of HVAC companies, and all of them would not be able to see me for over a week. I’m a paralyzed veteran that cannot regulate my body temperature so when my heater went out on New Years Eve boy did I think I was in trouble. Not only was the professionalism up to the highest standards he with the help of his outstanding crew got a complete new system installed before the ball dropped in Times Square. He gave me a great deal on an entire system I could not pass up I needed to upgrade so there was no better time to get that handled. I will be highly recommending ASAP to anybody I know that needs HVAC services. Thanks again to a job well done guys I really appreciate it.

It’s no fun to get home on a Sunday night and find out it’s 62 degrees in the house and your heater isn’t working! It’s way cool to check Unilocal the next morning and call ASAP, and have the owner say «I can be at your house in 15 minutes» — WHAT? Even cooler when he gets there, is friendly and professional, gets the heat working again, and gives you a good price on a new motor, says he’ll be back, arrives as expected with another worker and the part, and they get the job done. Highly recommended!

Quick response from Curtis. He was busy but sent Mark out the next day. Gave me several options: good, better and best. We picked the one that worked within our budget. On install day employees arrived on time. Curtis arrived as well and made several recommendation to save us money. The workers were very polite and respectful. Nice job, no shortcuts. Me and the Mrs are now warm and toasty for the holidays.

This man is a saint! As a single mom on tight budget (especially at xmas), I really appreciated him for coming out so quickly (we were FREEZING) and keeping the cost low! He got us going and then told me how to fix it for good — we followed his directions and we’re nice and toasty again. Fully recommend!

Curtis and his team are awesome! We bought a new place, which needed a new furnace. Tried working with the company our home warranty recommended but they were horrible. I own a rental apartment in Benicia and when my tenant called during a cold snap to tell me that the old heater wasn’t working I needed help, and quick (ASAP, as it turned out). I got in touch with three contractors. Of the three only Curtis was willing to quote a price range for a furnace before seeing the project, and after Curtis inspected the job he immediately said it would be a simple job and be at the bottom of the quoted price range. One of the other contractors charged an inspection fee on top of a replacement estimate which was DOUBLE what Curtis charged me.
Curtis was able to do the job the next day, which was the day before Thanksgiving! Take my advice, call Curtis at ASAP first, then call a competitor or two if you wish and you will see that ASAP is the best HVAC service in the East Bay!

Just moved to the area from Seattle and the 25+ year old A/​C with our house wasn’t cutting it in our split level home in San Ramon. I got 4 – 5 different estimates, all from high quality companies. Most had fancy marketing materials and were about 2x what ASAP was charging for the same top of the line Bryant equipment. We had the following work done by ASAP: new A/​C unit and new furnace (both top of the line, highest efficiency), new ducting, zoning into 2 zones (top floor vs. mid/​bottom floor), additional duct in master bedroom, and probably something else I’m forgetting. Curtis (owner) knows what he is doing with about 20 – 30 years of experience. His crew (not subcontracted out) is professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. The started the job within days of settling on all the equipment and price and finished it quickly. Also had insulation added to our attic (done by McHale’s Environmental, also great work). Curtis and his crew care that each job is done correctly and works perfectly. I can’t even remember how hot it was upstairs before all the work was done and I’m very satisfied with the results.

My friend provided me a reference to ASAP. I was immediately impressed by the frank, no bs approach that Curtis had… he worked hard to get the heart of the matter quickly and provided us the information we needed while fixing our system. In the past, I’ve had multiple contractors out at our numerous homes with quick fixes that led to bigger problems later. That wasn’t the case with Curtis and I very much value his work, professionalism and expertise. He is my «go to guy» now. Thank you Curits.

ASAP Heating & Cooling did an outstanding job completely replacing our antiquated HVAC system. Our house was remolded 25+ years ago, and concrete foundations changes created a difficult crawl space environment under our house. Given the situation, ASAP installers just put their heads down and worked hard to make then new installation happen.
ASAP replaced all ducts & registers and now the airflow goes into the house —- NOT into the crawl space! What we have now is a first class /​efficient system that fully cools our house. I am looking for equal performance in heating, once we turn the heat on this winter.
I highly recommend ASAP for their competitive pricing, quality of work, knowledge and overall professionalism in the way they handle their business. They helped make the paperwork processing for rebates effortless. I would hire them again, in a heart beat.

Great response, great guys, friendly and reasonable price! Small job of disconnecting the air handler and reconnecting after the yard work was completed! Try ASAP out and you won’t be disappointed.

Just had my new HVAC and Furnace installed by A.S.A.P. What can I say they did a great job. The guys doing the installation (Jr, David, Jessie) were all polite and did a fantastic job. Jr who headed up the installation always answered my questions and was very patient with me. The only downside to A.S.A.P would be communication issues but that could be because there so busy otherwise no problems at all. I wouldn’t hesitate again calling them up

If you need to have any HVAC work done, hands down, this is the company you should hire.
I had several HVAC contractors come out to quote prices for a full HVAC installation. I received several bids but chose Curtis because I felt his dedication to make sure that the customer was satisfied. I had to put off the installation due to cash flow issues but Curtis always checked in to see if I was ready and he even knocked down the price to soften the blow. Curtis and his team are top notch. David, Jr and Paul worked in the intense heat to make sure that my complete HVAC install was completed in 4 days. They were thorough, respectful and always made sure that they left the house clean.

Liked Curtis so much that I referred him to my aunt who also needed HVAC work as she was selling her rental property. They went above and beyond to make sure that her property was up to code to sell.

Heaters never go down at a convenient time. Called ASAP on a Saturday, was able to schedule a time that worked for us on a holiday! They were courteous, prompt, on time, quick and knowledgeable. Needed to replace our A/​C and furnace. Called a number of contractors for quotes. Curtis at ASAP came in as the lowest bid and they could get it done the fastest.
