Alex’s Bay Area Flight Instruction

This was my first time flying so Alex explained how the plane works and all of its controls, etc. Then, we went flying! I got to take-​off the airplane and fly it just about 90% of the time and land it. He took control a few times to show off a couple of moves, like a sharp turn and zero gravity. It was a little scary but a lot of fun! We flew from Concord to the Golden Gate Bridge and circled around SF once. It was a clear day and the view was spectacular. Alex even took a few pictures of me piloting on his iPhone and e-​mailed them to me. He is a very nice guy and makes you feel very comfortable in the airplane. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun adventure.

I did an intro flight with Alex, he was great! We went over how the airplane works, and he alleviated my fears. Then we talked about where we would fly and off we went. I flew almost the entire time (except when I was taking pictures). We circled the Bay, flying over Sausalito, the Golden Gate and Fisherman’s wharf. Alex pointed out the sights and showed me what I would need to learn if I start working towards a pilots license. I wasn’t thinking I was going to take lessons, but after flying with Alex I just might.
