We used ACB for a large home remodeling project (kitchen, family, dining, living, and entry) completed in early 2015. Aaron was one of several contractors recommended to us by our architect whom we met with and received bids. While ACB’s bid was highly competitive, what set Aaron apart was his professionalism, organization and ability to listen to what was important to my wife and I. As we began construction, Aaron did a great job communicating the schedule, required decisions and corresponding deadlines. Further, Aaron worked incredibly well with our architect and interior designer to solve unexpected challenges (they always come up) and/​or make changes on the fly in a cost-​effective manor. Aaron’s team is highly professional, responsive and just good people. The organized and transparent ways in which ACB handles its bids and billing make tracking the finances easy and without surprises. And most importantly, we absolutely love the finished product. We’d highly recommend Aaron and the ACB team.

We embarked on a master bedroom and bathroom remodel earlier this year. We received four bids, and Aaron’s was not the least expensive. However, he represented himself and his company in a professional manner, provided references and seemed to be trust worthy. After a lot of thought, we made the decision to go with ACB. I’m very happy we did. Aaron and his crew (led by Dennis) were trustworthy, friendly, clean and hardworking. Their craftsmanship was excellent, and they provided good advice throughout the project. Equally as important Aaron communicates well and is transparent about timelines and his prices. As with most remodels we had several hiccups along the way, but Aaron was fair and reasonable to work with. If you’re looking to do home upgrade with great quality and a trustworthy team, you can count on ACB.

We hired ACB last summer to remodel our hall bathroom and couldn’t be happier. Aaron is organized, professional, and he and his crew were very considerate of my children (aged 2 and 4) who were underfoot. The bathroom was totally transformed in a timely fashion and Aaron’s list of preferred vendors was so helpful — we found all the materials we wanted without having to spend months searching for tile, hardware, etc. We will definitely use ACB for any future remodeling projects.

ACB has actually completed two different projects for us. One was the addition of a bedroom and bath to our home. We were so happy with the results of that project that we hired ACB back a year later to remodel our master bath and closet. Again, we were pleased with the results and both projects were completed on time. We found Aaron and his crew (Chris, Dennis) to be very professional, detail-​oriented, honest, hard-​working and patient. We were pleased with their work and since we were living in the house throughout both projects, we also appreciated that they kept a clean, safe job site! When we are ready to do our kitchen remodel, we’ll be calling ACB back to do the work!

We just had a horrible experience with Aaron. The lady who sold us our cabinets recommended him to install our cabinets, saying he was expensive, but worth it. He told us in an email that he was expensive, but worth it, and we would be happy.
He sent 2 guys to do the work, and when they were finished, the drawers were installed crooked, there were gaps in the trim pieces, one of the doors rubs on the trim and needs ripped down, and the trim pieces were installed with different details on each side of our bath vanity! They simply left some of the trim off. When I asked Aaron to fix their mistakes, he said fine, but it would cost us T&M. We paid $ 1300 to install 1 linen cabinet, and 1 bath vanity. They had plenty of time to finish the details, but didn’t. I thought we had paid plenty, but now he was going to add another day to our costs, we said forget it, we want you to fix your mistakes, because they were his mistakes. I also was concerned that if they couldn’t do it right the first time, I wasn’t sure he could do it right the second time, and now I would be out $ 2600 for a total botched job!
He had every excuse you could ever think of, including throwing the cabinet lady under the bus, and telling us he was doing us a favor to take such a small job-​something he never mentioned when we hired him. He had a conference call with my husband and I at 8:15pm last night, and went on with his excuses for 30 minutes before he yelled at us and ended the call because I would not agree to pay him more $ to fix his mistakes.
This morning my husband received an email apologizing for his behavior last night, with an invoice for the $ 1300-​an extra $ 100 than we were quoted. My husband chose to pay him and move on because we do not want to put energy into this battle. We are hiring another contractor today to finish the job that Aaron started. Please be careful-​he talks a great game about how good he is, but he did not deliver for us, and he sure is expensive, especially when you have to pay someone else to finish his botched job.
He did tell me that he does a better job when he contracted to do the whole job, not just the cabinets-​but after all his excuses, that just seems like another one.

ACB did a kitchen and family room renovation for us a year ago. They were fantastic! It was actually a joy to have Aaron and Chris in our home and I actually missed them when the project was finished. They were punctual, neat, trustworthy and their work was beautiful! I would recommend them to anyone.
