Established in 1982.

Lopez Tire Shop opened its doors in 1982 only offering used tires, and repairing flats. With the automotive world growing so did we, Changing our name from Lopez Tire Shop to Lopez Auto Service & Tire. We offer our clients a variety of services such as oil change, starters/​alternators, belts, engine/​transmission service, electrical repair, diagnostics, suspension (shocks, control arms, ball joints, pit man arm, idler arm, rack & pinion, etc.) computerized wheel alignments, computerized high speed balance, air conditioning, rebuilt transmission, head/​valve job, engine overhaul, differential repairs. We’re pretty much a «one stop shop» we also offer free towing with in a 5 mile radius on major repairs.

AAA just dropped my car off… they have a gazillion cars in their space as well as their lot across the street… I told Eric I use my car for my job and needed it on the same day and not Monday like the first technician told me Eric said he will get back to me in one hour. I will update this review as the day goes by… they get three stars for right now because of their great responsiveness.
Okay, I have picked up my car, and I must say I am satisfied, they fixed a water pump and the technicians are very courteous. I would definitely return here for any other car services, they even have free tow service within 3 miles. Thanks to the team at Lopez Auto Service. My only suggestion is to call and make an appointment, before you go…

I have been to Lopez tires on two different occasions. The first time I got four new tires. When I got there, Eric greeted me and he was very nice and professional. He gave me good tires for a great deal. Before I left, he informed me that I need an alignment and that if I didn’t get one it would ruin my brand new tires and they wouldn’t last as long. He said that he didn’t have time to do it today because they were already about to close, but he promised to give me a good deal if I went back there on a different day. A few days ago I went back for the alignment. Eric was there again, and as promised, I was once again given a great deal. I was also in and out in no time. Great service and in a timely manner! I also feel like Eric didn’t try to take advantage of me because sometimes when I go to other auto places I feel like they take advantage and rip you off because you’re a girl on the prices and stuff. I highly recommend everyone to go to Lopez tires!

Still wondering what happened to my daughters Ipad it was in my car when i brought it there and then when i picked my car up its gone my poor baby. some straight up criminals will never do business here again and will make sure none of my business partners or friends and family due either… hope your happy you stole from a toddler monsters

I wouldn’t recommend going to the auto repair places behind this business, we had a horrible experience but the tire place in front has the best used tires i have ever seen. the owner is very nice and very helpful his staff is also very nice. lopez owns his own auto repair place i could suggest u go there. DO NOT GO TO THE REPAIR PLACE BEHIND THE TIRE SHOP!

Drove in due to a spike on my tire. 15 minutes, I was driving out of the shop! The owner was there to look after the job and write up the bill, $ 10! I’ve been to other places and they would charge me $ 15 or even $ 20 for the same work. This place is fast, professional, courteous, and cheap. This is what businesses should be, straightforward and no nonsense. I was just compelled to write about this because my experience here has made me a future customer. Keep up the good job guys!
By the way, if you bring your rotors in, they charge you $ 8 per disc to rotate it. Layman term: shave a bit off the brake rotors to smooth it out. If you go to PEP Boys, they will charge you $ 15 per disc, and only $ 10 if you buy the pads from them. Is this easy to figure out or what?

This is a triple threat review! LOL, I like to first of all, thank mac for the iphone, secondly, Unilocal for allowing me to find Lopez Auto, and lastly of course Lopez Auto Service.
This week I found myself in Lynwood or was it Compton?, anyway, I had a meeting at Via trading and when I returned to my car I had a flat tire. Back in the day I would have panicked. Why? Not because of the reasons you suspect, the hood is actually not bad at all LOL. In the past i would have freaked out because… number one, I don’t know how to change a tire, and two, even if I did know how, I don’t carry a spare :)
So, as you may suspect, I pulled out my iphone, click the Unilocal app and Unilocaled «auto tire». A bunch of places came up. I called a couple of them, no one picked up. My third lucky try was Lopez Auto, within 15 minutes Moises showed up ready to help. He put some air in the tire and I followed him to their shop.
In just a few minutes I was back on the road. Thanks guys!
