PROS: The coffee here is like no other and the donut selection is great. The best time to buy donuts is in the morning as they are usually fresh, soft, and yummy around this time. This place has good prices and a friendly owner who gives us a free donut or two from time to time. CONS: None.

This place is out of business, it’s never open and always closed. I see dust and dirt on the floor.

we randomly stumbled upon this place, and its not bad. the donuts are less than a buck, and if you go in the morning, they seemed fresh. obviously this is in the CPT so it’s not in the best neighborhood, but keep your eyes open and you should be okay.

Came to buy some donuts, worse decision ever. Donuts looked about 1 – 2 days old. Really small and nasty. I don’t know why I bought it. So I went across the street from Gas Station and they have the BEST donuts there. Even give you an extra donut hole or 2. Lady is really nice and donuts are freshly made every morning. Bye dales, and hello my new spot.

Randy’s? Oh no it’s Dale’s! Dales must have been a Randy’s at one point or another, or visa-versa. It”s got a great sign, but the doughnuts are pretty medium in quality. Not that Randy’s is way better. I went late in the day so perhaps they are way better early when they are fresh out of the fryer. I’ll most definately go again to see if it was just me…

It’s in Compton, so you’ve been warned. ;) I stumbled upon Dale’s several years ago when I was in college working as a legal courier. I was on Atlantic, it was late, I was tired, I was driving through Compton so my windows were up and my doors were locked… and then I saw it — a 20 foot tall monument in the shape of a donut, dominating the corner of Atlantic & Alondra. Hot coffee. Freshly fried sugary fatted goodnesses smothered in sugary buttery frosting goodnesses. Cheap as dirt. Good as gold. Served with a smile. Dale’s is one of those vintage LA donut shops, cut in the same mold of Randy’s /Stan’s /Donut Hole /etc, without the press(probably due to location), but just as good as any of them.
