I had the pastor burrito with everything. It was very well seasoned and tasty. I tried both the red and the green sauces and liked the flavor of both. The service was quick. I only waited a few minutes. I will come back again!

Nasty burritos and tacos I had nothing but fat in my burrito like wtf is this is like if I was chewing rubber bands I pay like over 20 dollars for some nasty food if you want good tacos go to king tacos and if you want good burritos go to ramonas or taqueria Mexicana in Lbc but this shit is #nashty #you suck cliffs cheap meat # the fries are good tho only!!!

Quantity isnt quality. This place was a disappointment, my brother went for the Soul Burrito and i also had a part of it. Wasn’t that good. Its got three meats Pastrami, link and ground beef. The meats are bland and possibly use a cheap link with no flavor. If they were to use a good link at least, i believe it do a lot. I had the quesadilla with meat. got a dash of sour cream. and very little cheese. Next time ill try Moms Burgers next to them.

I’ll keep it short… extra large helping of yummy good. Be prepared to wait 15 minutes for your food… it’s worth it though.

Came here for a quick bite before heading to the beach and the food was really good but what was even more amazing is I forgot my wallet here around 9 pm. I noticed this when I got to the beach so I called hoping they would pick up and tell me they found my wallet so when I called they answered and they told me they found my wallet I was so happy so I went back here and picked up my wallet these are great people thank you guys

Great tacos and amazing burritos, especially the soul man!
All of this at a more than humane price, make the trip, some of the best tacos I’ve had while in the US.

Came here for the first time after a meeting I had in the area. This place is your typical ma and pa shop — great food, great proportions, great service, and friendly loyal customers.
I ordered a carneasada burrito with addition of cheese inside. And oh boy — did they add cheese. They were so generous I thought I was eating a quesorito.
WAYYY better than your typical trip to chipotle.
The only complaint I have about this place is that they don’t offer diet coke :(

This little place has an amazing food OMG the burritos are so tasty delicious and good price why not… and this lady named ROSIE is so adorable she treats people real good… I’ll be back for more y’all

Food is amazing. Chili cheese fries, Burgers and burritos. You can not go wrong here. And Rosie !!! ROSIE IS A GREAT SPIRIT AND HELP.

I had a chance to meet these fine people at an event in long beach… so by chance I had to give it a try… after all I am from the City… I ordered 3 pork tacos… omg … greasy, microwaved, old meat, and disgusting… I will never be back…

So I’ve been CRAVING a Carna Asada Burrito from a «hole in the wall joint» for the longest. My sister reminded me of the one we went to during our Compton Titan days. Mr Cliff’s (across the street from Compton High). So I went today on my lunch break. I thought I was trippen when I saw something black 3^rd bite in.
There was a FLY in my burrito!!!
I LITERALLY stopped breathing for like 5mins. drove back to talk to the manager.
He apologized, made me a «fresh» burrito, and gave me a free warm lemonade…
Ughh thanks …
So now I’m sitting at my desk staring at this «fresh burrito» that I REFUSE to eat.

Try out their steak super nachos, you’ll luv it. They serve 3 foot burritos over Here, and their chicken salad is off the chain. The wait time isnt very long and the woman that works as cashier is cute. Definitely reccomended they have a wide variety of food to choose from; soul food, Mexican food, and american.

This is my go to place. The service is excellent. I am a frequent diner and everytime I come, i am greeted by my first name by either Rosie or the other lady who is just as helpful and friendly. I get a special order of asada MONSTER TACOS with everything. I have recommended this place to all coworkers. On a good day you will catch the owner Cliff on the grill throwing down. Overall, just a greAt place and awesome food. This is what you call Mexican soul food

Food is not bad at all was fast is really big so go only if ur really hungry lol

I’ve never had a burrito quite like the Soul Man Burrito. See? it was so good, I can remember the name.
Thank you, Mr. Cliff for making one of the most memorable eating experiences I’ve had in a long time.
And the manager was so sweet.

Located in Compton in a small strip mall with jacked up asphalt. My first visit I parked and some Ghetto Rat asked if I was interested in some weed. Typical drug pushing idiot. The line was short and they have lots of variation of burritos.
I ordered a Carne Asada in their small size. What I got was a huge burrito with lots of fatty chewy meat with a ground beef greasy mixture. I found it very salty and a bit nasty; furthermore, the grease was dripping all over my hands. The price for what you get was reasonable and I think getting a belly buster size meal and price attracts people here versus the actual quality and taste.
If you are low on cash, hungry and don’t care what you eat and want something that is flavorful, this may fit the bill! I had heart burn after eating.

Quick service and good food. Had the Asada burrito. Good !!
Will be back for my next lunch hour visit.

On my visit, I ordered a al pastor quesidella. It came with salad and salsa for just under $ 6. It was a very big in size and the meat was ok. I think it lacked a little in flavor, but it was still overall tasty.
Cliff’s has seating next to the order window. Next to that was the large dirt and gravel parking lot. Not sure if I want to sit outside with the possibility of having dirt blow into my food, but that’s just me. So I ate mine in the comfort of my car in which I had a nice «itis» nap after. I will return to try the tacos and burritos, but with another meat. Cliff’s — good stuff.

I got the Pastor Burrito (wet — red sauce).
The ratio of meat (in this case pork), rice & beans was perfect.
some burrito when they’re this big is just packed with rice and bean, not here.
It was perfect.
This place is a shack with a covered patio for outdoor eating.
The parking lot is not paved. Mixture of unfinished cement and gravel.
And watch out on the entrance of the parking lot (Specially if your car is low like mine) since it’s unpaved, it’s very uneven specially right there, Don’t crape the bottom of your car like I did (and I was going slow).
The service was faster the first time I came here. It took them 15 minutes to make my burrito. 4 guys who ordered after me got their food before me. Hmmmmm…
Now, I ordered a regular burrito (which was plenty big), this place is famous for their 36″ long soul man burrito. I might have to try that when we have a company pot luck or something.
Bottom line: That burrito was so gooood… This just made the lunch time rotation.
