History

Established in 1976.

Snider Tire, Inc. was founded in 1976 by John H. Snider, father of current President/​CEO John K. Snider. Senior Mr. Snider purchased General Tire Service, a local dealer in Greensboro, North Carolina, and renamed the company Snider Tire, Inc. We originally offered a variety of products and services including car tires, new truck tires,

off-​the-​road tires, and retread truck tires — many of the same products we still provide today.

Today we operate as Snider Fleet Solutions and offer mechanical service — both in-​shop and mobile — as well as managed tire programs, in addition to the various types of tires that our business was built upon.
