Established in 2011.

McAndrew Lawn Care was started by a former television reporter who also has a strong history in the lawn care business. Chris McAndrew takes great pride in his work in this business. He has chosen to run this company over other options because he loves being able to come into a yard that is a mess when he arrives and then when he leaves and sees the customer’s smile and hears their appreciation he says there is no better feeling in the world!

Chris McAndrew is a former television reporter for WNEG 32 which was a CBS affiliate covering Northeast Georgia. In his time working as a reporter he got to know the people of the area very well.

Chris has some great stories about his time as a tv reporter in his «My Blog» link on the left side of the company web page.

He loves the people in the area, he loves warm weather, and he loves working outside, so when he left the tv station he figured why not go back to mowing lawns again!

Chris has spent many summers working in the lawn care business. He worked for another lawn service in Athens for a couple of mowing seasons then started his own with a couple of buddies in his free time several years ago. He got away from the lawn care business to pursue other interests, and is now back with his own company again.

Chris believes all customers should be treated like they are his only customer. He takes great pride in making sure each yard he works on looks fantastic when he leaves!
