Plenty of rice in these rolls. I got the CA roll and the Salmon roll. The CA roll is bomb. Salmon is alright. If you use soy sauce with sushi tread lightly on the soy sauce they carry dine-in. Super salty more than I can normally take. Paid $ 11.17 for both rolls that come with 8 pieces. Not that bad.

Like a previous reviewer stated, you get what you pay for. Place is a solid ok. Not terrible but not great. Ive had their sushi, bowls, bento plates etc. Ive been here around 20 times. Place is clean, convinient and fast. It gets the job done until you find a better sushi place.

This spot is as the saying goes,” you get what you pay for”. It’s fast, cheap, and gets the job done if you’re not looking to be picky with taste. There isn’t much in this area in terms of japanese cusine, so my best guess as to why it gets 4 to 5 stars is probably due to that. I ordered the chicken bowl — They give generous portions. The chicken isn’t flame grilled — it looks pan seared. Heavy servings of rice. What you see on the wall pictures is exactly what you get. My only issue was the cold brocolli and carrots — odd. For 6 bucks I have no reason to be complaining. The california rolls are filling because theres a lot of rice on the rolls. They use what looks like spicy mayo in their crab mix, which I wasn’t a fan of. They also have other rolls and sushi which ive ordered before. Fish quality wise– its just ok. Keep it moving alony if you’re looking for gourmet or crazy flavors and dishes. If you’re hungry and need a quick fix it’s a quick spot to grab lunch…

This is a small, casual place. No need to dress too fancy. Comfortable, pleasant, clean place, respectful staff, food is good. The portions are large so don’t be fooled bythe pictures. I paid $ 11.00 for a spider roll and $ 3.50 for a side of vegetable tempura. I had to take ½ of my roll home for later. Plenty of food for the price, very satisfied. This place is obviously not very authentic the quality of the sushi was ok for what the place is, small. So, I don’t expect super fesh. I expect clean, fair price and at least tasty. And they were all that. I’m satisfied.

It was lunch time and I was in the area, craving sushi. I need some Unilocal finding a place to eat! I found this spot, and don’t really know what to think about it. It reminded me of a fast food burger joint inside, but they serve sushi. Most sushi places are somewhat upscale and have a dining area, where as this spot has only regular seating, likes random fast food burger joint. Anyways, I ordered the«Bento — A» which consisted of two hand rolls, four sushi, four dumplings and a salad. Okay, I’ll begin with the dumplings– they were okay, tasted like what you buy at the market, fry and eat. So nothing special there. I then ate the sushi, which the fish was cut possibly by a deli slicer cause the pieces were so thin. Moving on to the salad, it’s a salad, it didn’t have much taste to it. Last but not least, the hand rolls… Drum roll please! It’s… Its… No good. Sorry. The hand roll had fish where you can see it on top and not filled through the paper. The sad part is that the paper wasn’t even filled with rice! It just had a few slices of cucumber. Sorry, I would not recommend coming here. The only reason I have two stars instead of one, is cause the cashier(which may have been the owner) was a nice guy. Otherwise, sorry this is a No-Go for me.

Aoki lunch box was delicious for fast food sushi. Get lots of food and variety in this lunch box for 12 bucks and cup of water. I dont drink sodas but they do have soda fountain refills. Fast for quick lunch or dinner next to 710 fwy. Easy to order, no dressing up, no need to tip and just eat and go. Better then Waba grill across the street.

Come here all the time for the Yaki noodle combo and shrimp tempura. Good service, good food.

I ordered a spicy tuna roll and eel roll. Sushi was very bland. It was poorly crafted(fell apart easily) and it also had way too much rice. My eel roll barely had any eel in it. I wouldn’t come back here at all.

I love this place! My husband and I always come here. Friendly service and it is true! They always have a smile. I usually get the bibimbap and my husband orders the beef bowl with a sushi combo. We really love the way we have that welcome feel, right as we walk in they already know what we usually get and everyone from the front to the back greets us! FRIENDLYSERVICE& will always feel welcome.

Great food, price to value and taste is on par. Will go again. Not authentic true sushi but for what you pay for, it taste like it. The rolls tend to be more burrito style so tons of rice per roll. Must try. Maybe only issue is to have cleaner tables and low sodium of a chose than standard sodium.

It’s okay. been here a few times… I’ll settle for it since this is the nearest sushi spot, I work in city of commerce… prices are, I wouldn’t say high, but I definitely need like 2 or 3 orders to fill me up so it becomes pricy.

Very average sushi. Nothing special and the price wasn’t too expensive but I wanted better quality for what I paid for. Maybe if they have you more good instead of such a small portion. Overall, not impressed with this place.

Its nice and cool inside. The seating area is pretty clean. The people working here are really nice and I was excited to see that they had bibimbap on their menu. Im glad I don’t have to go to K-Town whenever I’m craving a Bibimbap because it was pretty good here. Lots of veggies and the meat was very flavorful. It also came with a tasty miso soup. I would definitely would come again and recommend it.

Basic sushi if you in the area. Cannot speak to what they cook, but does not look particularly appealing. My go-to here is a sashimi salad w $ 3 extra salmon.

I honestly don’t know how this restaurant got a 3.5 star, & I totally disagree on that. I usually go to Aoki for lunchtime and the service is pretty fast. Not AS fast, but fast enough for you to not be impatient. The service is pretty decent, assuming that this is a family owned restaurant. Yes, they make mistake from time to time, but their customer service is what keeps me coming. I usually order the usual, a spicy tuna salad(the best) & the regular bimbimap. Their sushi is okay, but I prefer the korean bimbimap(: The only thing I have to complain about is the parking. If you come around noon, most likely you’ll have a hard time finding a parking spot. Other than that, you should definitely give this place a try.

The service is good, but it’s not like they bring the food to you. Why this place has a 4 star is beyond me. I came here because of Unilocal. My tempura was burned. My chicken tastes old. I was so hungry I ate it out of necessity(and it costs $ 10.). The only good thing was the salad(and how hard is it to make a salad.) Don’t get me wrong; the people are lovely. But, this is a place is only go to if I was starving… and an apocalypse hit… And it was the only place available.
