My 3 children and I saw a doctor here from around 2012 – 2014. I should have found a different practice, the main reason we would go there was because of the proximity to where we lived. Communication with the receptionist over the phone was a problem. I asked for shot records and they wouldn’t send them; transferring records was also a pain, and the wait was often very very long. A couple of the nurses were nice though. I just thought I should write a review for people who are looking for a doctor or urgent care. If you can find another place, don’t go here. We had many bad experiences with them.

Unfortunately, I must make an amendment to my original review — while the medical care at RMFM is superb, and the doctors and nurses there are masters of the art of medicine, the billing department’s consideration and service has been abysmal. It is my hope that this essential part of the program could be brought to fully support both patients and care providers in the organization, because the doctors and nurses here are outstanding.

This is the worst place to go for urgent care! I checked it at 2:50pm and I’m still waiting for one of the four rooms to open up at 4:30pm I should have got the hint from the urgent care patient who left without being seen when I walked in! They can’t even give you a time-frame! The front desk girl is so clueless it’s ridiculous!

Our family has gone to Rocky Mountain Family Medicine(and urgent care) for the past few years. This past year I have had some significant medical issues which the doctors at RMFM were the first to discover, thankfully. I have always been happy with Dr. Guerin, my daughter’s pediatrician at RMFM. However, about 2 weeks ago my satisfaction with RMFM changed. I called to make an appointment because I was pretty sure I had bronchitis. I was told that my account had been sent to collections and I was terminated as a patient. Meanwhile, I had not heard anything about this. I had been making monthly payments and had not missed any and had receipts for all of them. I had not received any bills saying«final notice» or any tip off that anything was wrong. I had made monthly payments in the past to RMFM without any issues, and considering I owe just short of $ 9000 in medical bills since last August, I am doing my best to stay afloat and have not made any late payments to any medical provider. I spoke to the business office and they told me that my credit card had been declined one month even though I have a receipt and statements saying that never happened. They also said they left me 3 voicemails regarding my bill and payment plans. I have Google Voice, so all of my voicemails are stored in an online mailbox. I went through all of my messages from the past 7 months and the only messages from them include lab results. I specifically checked the 2 dates she gave me and there were no messages from anyone at all on those dates. The worst part about all of this is that I am now without a PCP and my daughter is without her lifelong pediatrician. I am dealing with some significant medical issues right now, and to start over with a new PCP is going to be challenging. The lack of communication and insinuation that I am at fault when I have written proof that no payments were missed and no messages were received is insulting to say the least. The care I received from the practitioners was adequate, but after being treated the way I was I could never recommend this practice to anyone.
