Maid 4 the City

Horrible! I spent a long time trying to get in touch with Maya and she told me her phone wasn’t working. I then set up a time and date for her to come. She doesn’t show up, doesn’t call or text, and doesn’t answer any of my calls or texts! I am disappointed beyond belief and would hope she doesn’t get a single other customer. Ever.

I have been looking for a cleaning service since we moved into our house in April since my boyfriend and I work an insane amount of hours and have dogs, we desperately need someone to help with the cleaning. I found a voucher for a 3 hour deep clean from this service and called to make an appointment. She didn’t have anything anytime soon but I was fine with waiting so I booked it for over a month out to fall the day after we returned home from a trip and the day before my boyfriend’s mom and stepdad arrived to visit for a week and see our house for the first time.
I took off the day job early to come home finish unpacking and work on my other business while waiting for Mya to clean. She was supposed to be here at 2. At about 10 after, I hadn’t heard anything and went back to reread the confirmation text she had sent me shortly after we scheduled to make sure I did have the right day and time, which I did. I texted her to make sure she was on her way. And she responded «running behind», no problem, I understand things happen, but notice, no apology let alone being proactive to let me know she was running late.
I asked when could I expect her, she just told me she was about to finish up at a house down south. (Very very vague) Okay… Finally an hour and a half after she was supposed to be here, she asks if we can reschedule because traffic was picking up. No I can’t just take off work again to maybe have her show up. Instead of apologizing and owning up to her mistake (aka «being an adult»), she just made excuses. She said all houses are different. I don’t know how my 3 hours is any different than someone else’s 3 hours… My time is too valuable to waste on someone that can’t be considerate or professional.
