We have Kentucky bluegrass, bentgrass, and fescue blends specially developed to thrive in the Rocky Mountain Region. You can pick up sod at our farm or we can deliver to your project site. We also offer professional turfgrass sod installation services.

History

Established in 1987.

Emerald Sod Farms provides turf/​grass/​sod and services for homeowners and commercial needs throughout the Rocky Mountain region. As the first sod farm ever to solid sod an entire golf course, we continue to provide our customers with quality sod, as well as quality service.

Emerald Sod Farms began turf/​grass/​sod farming operations in Colorado with the acquisition of 410 acres 25 miles northeast of Denver, next to Box Elder Creek. The creekside soil is sandy loam, which is the perfect medium to grow, harvest, and transplant turfgrasse/​sod.

Our owners and managers have a combined 100 plus years of experience in the turfgrass industry.

Emerald Sod Farms is inspected and certified «weed and disease free» by the Colorado Department of Agriculture annually.
