This company is horrible. They were rude on the phone, in person, as well as the supervisor! DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! They deserve no business with the way they treat people. Cussing at me and treating me like I don’t even matter!

Alpine suck!!! They are about done! Can’t keep drivers because the owner is a crook. He is definitely reaping what he sowed! 2 trucks is all they have. New drivers every month. Tries to get away with paying his driver minimum wage. And wonder why Alpine can’t grow anymore? Go figure. This company is a joke. Close the doors and file bankruptcy already! You know it’s coming! Watch!

On Sunday Dec 6 2015 the towing company our apartment complex uses. Alpiine Auto Recovery in Commerce city… did a «random» drive past my Honda Odyssey that was parked in the handicapped spot. I forgot the hang up the placard (it fell on the floor) and they pretty much stole my van and towed it to Commerce City.
My van was parked on PRIVATE PROPERTY!!! We had to pay them 236.45 because the placard was not in the window (BUT it was still inside the van.) so we didn’t do anything wrong. DO NOT EVER use this towing company!!! They didn’t even look inside the van (it was dark) so at 5pm they towed it away and we were sitting in our apt, NO knock on the door, NO warning ticket NOTHING they hooked it up and took it while we not looking!!!
The staff was rude and condescending We had to sell our personal belongings to people just to come up with the the money do get my own car out of the impound lot which NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! Talk about stereotype towing companies, they have two huge German Shepards in the office, a big fat assed office manager, The bitch at the front desk is tattooed, no bra, boobs bouncing everywhere right out of Lizard Lick Towing. Plus every time we would say anything or ask anything, she would just snicker and ignore us. What a C U Next Tuesday.

If you find yourself having to deal with a tow company, Alpine AR staff are courteous and honest. I have had to recover from them as well as having to have illegally parked cars towed from my property and as I have said, they are always friendly and honest.

Yeah. I called before 4pm. They quoted me 2 hours. This was already a little silly because it’s a clear 75* day. I waited until 20 minutes after the estimate and called and was quoted 45 more minutes. Waited another 45 and called again and they quoted me 45 more minutes. Uh, no. I will not be waiting until 8pm just to be asked to wait another 45 again. This place is CRAP.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! I was referred to this company via roadside assistance and was quoted a 9:30 am pick up time. Two hours later I called to check on the ETA, and was told «the driver was stuck in traffic.» Two additional hours later I called and the employee said 20 – 30 minutes out and they will call whenever they are 10 minutes away from pick up. Three hours later I called and was told my car was being picked up as we speak. I noted that I was never called prior to this pick up and they said «Oh, your car must be getting hooked now.» Two hours later I arrived back home and my car was still there; so, I called to «confirm» that my car was picked up and was told that «Yeah, John picked it up.» I told them no this «John» never picked up my car and if they touch my car I’m calling the cops.
After reading other reviews I’m reassured to know this incompetent company has failed many other people as well. If you have ample time on your hands and enjoy waiting all day for nothing to happen then this is the company for you; but if you don’t like being lied to and want to have your car towed in a timely manner then STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Unfortunately, it seems the majority of their business comes from contracted work, so if you ever call roadside assistance, please tell them NOT to use Alpine Auto Recovery. HORRIBLE!!!

What a pitiful company. Why are they not shut down after reading all these reviews? Operator caused a huge scene outside of Southeast Auto while blocking the road for way too long. He was taking his own sweet time, intentionally being slow, in doing his job knowing he was blocking cars in either direction from getting where they needed to get. Said he had the right of way and quiet honestly he probably does. My issue was he didn’t need to be a big dick about it. He was screaming profanity for no reason and once done about to run into several cars INTENTIONALLY that had been waiting on him to clear out. He was making gestures like get off my street or something. He could have done his job properly and left room for cars to squeeze around him. Seen that done before on that street. Then driver comes to car window and threatens a woman. Will file a complaint with BBB although that seems to go nowhere it appears. So previous review suggested calling like BMW and Mini and Geico and other insurances to recommend not using them. But to read here all and on google about the scams at the apt complex. Someone needs to check the law books and go after these guys for several reason. Agree the dispatch guy was nice and polite when called to complain. That is worth the 1 star that has to be at least given.

This is to confirm Alpine provides AWFUL service, not only in terms of VERY late arrival, but failing to responsibly handle damage to car while they towed it!

when Alpine provided a 2 hours estimate, but still couldn’t LOCATE the car after 6 hours of delays and multiple phone calls is a complete joke.
car was finally delivered to a tire shop 10 hours after first call, only 32 miles away.
noticing windshield damage AFTER they towed the vehicle, Kellie Walker and the owner failed to stand buy her statement «we’ll take care of this» despite photographic evidence.
Alpine will be reported to the Denver BBB as well as Geico, so insurance companies STOP referring stranded customers to this complete joke of a towing company!

Any business doing business with this company should rethink. I’m sure these guys show up when your destination is their impound lot. But if you actually need them to show up they will let you down. By the looks of it there is not much of a choice for a reputable tow. These people make bs excuses and will waste a day or more of your life. If your roadside company sets you up with this company tell them to roll the dice again.

Probably one of the worst auto recovery companies in the country… Called them to resolve a problem when they were recommended. They did not show up at all.
The dispatcher assured me they would come check out my problem, but hours later and after my cab ride they failed to show.

Waking up on a Sunday morning to realize your car has been towed is a pretty unpleasant way to start the day. It was my own fault; I’d forgotten to move my car from the loading zone at my friend’s apartment complex, and had been parked in front of their very clearly stated warning sign. Yes, it was expensive to retrieve, as it *always* is when your car is unwillingly towed ($ 285) and it was an inconvenience having to get a ride to commerce city to pick it up.
THAT BEING SAID; the man working the reception, Matt, was pleasant on the phone, and just a nice person overall when we came in to get my vehicle. He chatted with us through the paperwork and was just a positive presence in an inherently negative situation. For an employee who– I’m going to go out on a limb here and make an assumption– deals with angry customers quite often, to be intentionally friendly and easy to work with, spoke volumes to me as their (reluctant) customer. The gentleman who took me to my car was polite as well.
Like I said– the entire situation completely sucks by its own accord. But, my car was fine and undamaged, they gave it back upon payment with no issues.
I greatly appreciated it, having been treated like dirt a few years ago by another towing company. So– big kudos to those employees! :)

Like so many others, I’d give them ZERO stars if I could… The short story is 3 hours and 30 minutes wait after telling my wife 30 minutes 4 different times… every time you call in to ask «how much longer»? they say 30 minutes. they lie and they are rude.
IF YOU DEAL WITH THEM, YOU ARE CRAZY. Do your self a favor and call someone else.

Absolutely terrible! Don’t ever call if you need a tow truck. I’ve called several times, no truck has ever showed up

The unbelievable uncaring disrespectful complete lack of service is beyond amazing I was assigned this tow company by good Sam roadside assistance. good Sam didn’t care, the towing company didn’t care — they stranded my husband on a hugely busy interstate for four hours in below freezing temperatures-​use AAA

If I could give zero stars, I would. My roadside assistance dispatched Alpineo tow my car– they gave a 2-​hour wait time. Then didn’t show up. Then proceeded to exchange different stories with me, my husband, and the roadside assistance service as to their tardiness (lies lies lies). Then after 3 hours, Alpine called to say they would be 20 more minutes late. THEN they called my roadside assistance to say, actually, they weren’t coming at all. Whaaaa?

These crooks target the poor and disabled, towing their legally-​parked cars on a made-​up pretense, then hoping they can’t pay the $ 250, so that they can keep the car and sell it at auction for $ 1,500. It’s a scam targeting our most vulnerable. They are straight-​up predators and deserve whatever they get from a fed-​up community.

My experience was GREAT… once the truck arrived I was gone in no time!!!
The driver was friendly, helpful, quick.
It’s divine intervention that he even found me too… bc I used my car insurance ‘roadside assistance’ and after about 10 phone calls and hours, they never could get the address OR vehicle make correct. YAY! Just went back to AAA.
I think the tow industry is tough if they gotta rely on misinfo from roadside assistance call centers.
But Alpine managed to find me and take good care of my vehicle.

I didn’t get my car towed, so I’m not a disgruntled car owner. I parked in front of their shop on a Saturday morning at 9 a.m. It was DEAD. I was waiting for a friend to show up. One of the douche bag owners or employees, drives up in his dually and says to me «move your car before you get hurt» Nice way to deal with people schmuck. A pox on your house.

This towing company was chosen by MINI Roadside Assistance when my car overheated. At first I felt good about them– their driver arrived in about an hour and was quick about getting my vehicle onto the flatbed. It was a Saturday night and the dealership was closed on Sunday, so my car was stored at a secure lot until Monday. I was told that my car would be delivered to the dealership by 9:30am on Monday morning. And this is when the chaos began.
I wanted to be at the dealer to take pictures when the car arrived, so I was there at 9:30 am. No car. I waited an hour, still no car.
I called Alpine and spoke to a woman who said they didn’t have a PO from Mini Roadside Assistance. I called Mini and they called Alpine and straightened out their paperwork. They said they would arrive within an hour. An hour later, no car.
I called Alpine again and a different woman answered. She said «I don’t have my computer on, I’m going to transfer you to Lisa and she can help you.» So she transferred me… to Lisa’s voicemail. I hung up and called back and yet another woman answered. Thus ensued a hilarious example of dumbass business practices: the «just give them a generic response to shut them up» principle
Me: Hi, My vehicle was supposed to arrive 2 hours ago and it was promised within 70 minutes?
Alpine: Yeah it doesn’t happen in exactly 70 minutes. Wait another half hour.
Me: Ok, so it has been 2 HOURS.
Alpine: Oh… yeah he’s delivering another vehicle right now and then yours is next.
Me: Ah, thank you. And can you tell me what vehicle I am referring to?
Alpine: (silence)
Me: You don’t even know what car I’m talking about do you?
Alpine: (SIGH) FINE… tell me the information about your vehicle.
At this point I decided I was done contacting them directly and went through Mini Roadside for future contact. Mini would then convey their answers to me. Here is a list of the answers I received to the question «When is my vehicle arriving at the dealership?» Every single one of these was false.
— It’s our top priority. We will get it there within the hour
— Our driver was called to an accident, it will take an hour
— It will arrive in an hour to an hour and a half
— The car was delivered at 9:32 this morning
— The car was delivered on Saturday night
— The car was towed to a different lot because Mini didn’t specify we had to store it at our lot.
— The driver has the car right now and is on his way
— He’s loading the car onto the truck right now.
My car, which was supposed to be delivered at 9:30am, ended up arriving at the dealership at 3:30pm. SIX HOURS LATE. I watched 2 men get my car off the tow truck, and then one of them said «I dunno how to get your car outta Neutral.» Wow… One of the dealer service guys standing with me just rolled his guys, got in and put it in park. Then the tow truck driver said «Ok! We love y’all!», got in his truck and drove off.
Never, EVER, trust this towing company. Go with someone who has their act together.

I was assigned this towing service by BMW Roadside Assistance after a long ordeal of trying to get a towing service to move my stalled car from a parking garage. They have a small truck that can tow from low clearance. The driver was polite and efficient, which I appreciated. He even sent me a text message and picture of my car parked at the dealership service entrance to show it had been safely delivered.
I’m only giving 3 stars because, after my assignment and hour estimate, I was told they would be delayed because the police called in the need for their truck to an accident. I am doubtful of this, but happy they arrived at all — even if 45 minutes after the assigned time.
