I really wanted to love this place because it is one of the few decent looking restaurants where our new company recently moved to. I went in with 3 other co-workers. The food was good, but it took us 45 minutes for everyone at our table to get their food. People that came in 15 minutes after us received their food first. I’m okay with mistakes being made, but good customer service owns the problem and then does something to resolve the issue. They did nothing except apologize. No discount, no coupons, not even an explanation as to why it took so long and other tables received their food before us. To me, that is unacceptable. It doesn’t even follow basic restaurant courtesy or customer service. Had the food came on time or if they would have done something to resolve it, then I would have given them 4 stars. Lastly, this is not a Hibachi grill. They do not cook in front of you so the food is not hot off the grill when you receive it, but to me that wasn’t a huge deal. The food did taste good, the service just ruined it.

My husband & I have been two nights in a row. We had excellent & consistent service both nights. Super friendly staff and delicious food! We’ve tried several sushi rolls and all of them were great. Our favorite is the crunch roll! The hibachi chicken & onion soup are my favorites. We will definitely be back!

Came here for the first time yesterday and was very impressed, impressed enough to come back tonight as well. The sushi is good, we had a crunch roll tonight and it was fantastic, however the thing I really like about this place is the hibachi, it actually tastes like the different foods. Most places put so much butter and artificial crap in the food that it tastes uniform, I know I can go to shogun anywhere and it will taste like the Americanized creamy hibachi staple that we are all too familiar with, the steak here tastes like steak, the vegetables like the actual vegetable, soups are a little different but both are good. I really hope this place stays around, I’ll be here at least once a week.

Seriously lol must be some kind of joke to make horrible sushi ! Service was good but sushi, udon, hibachi was worst ever. What kind of restaurant selling sushi that man can’t even make right sushi … Udon! Is nothing like looks taste like udon lol just full of yellow and green bell pepper !! And hibachi was full of yucky sauce … I tried to eat as much as I could cz I’m paying but I shouldn’t have. Got sick after. Worst ever … Never going back

Love this place. Used to go to Sumo Sushi before they closed down and luckily this place came into existence. The rolls are definitely tasty and well put together. Miso soup is a good starter while you wait and there are plenty of rolls to choose from! Definitely worth checking out!

New sushi restaurant just opened at Kitten Lake. Nice selection of sushi and hibachi items. Lunch specials all week long. The staff is friendly and the sushi was very tasty. They are located between the Moe’s and LV grill. My son and I got the full moon roll and fire roll, yellowtail sashimi and miso soup which were all very good. If you live in the Midland area and like sushi, you should check them out.
