I have just fell in love with this Little eatery in Eastland Mall. Miss Cynthia Nongorh the proprietor is a real sweetheart. All her regular customers that come in seem to love her. She makes you feel as if you are at home in a dinning room. That is how this place is, just plain comfortable. I got the Jerk Chicken with balsamic long grain rice and fried cabbage. Can you say YUMMY. Just the right amount of spices to where it brings the taste buds and mouth alive, but not to hot to ruin the potpourri of tastes. It is good wholesome food, in a fast food world. It was a very generous portion. I had to take some home. I also had fried sweet plantains which were excellent, and a homemade pound cake that was light fluffy and not too dense or sweet. Just right for a cup of tea or coffee. While there I observed the mall regulars come in, then a mixture of Indian, African, regular black and white customers come in for Curry, coffee, tea, sandwiches or a meal. The sandwiches are stacked nicely with meat, cheeses, and veggies the way you like to your order. There is love and care taken in making the smoothies or blending a spice tea or coffee. This Lady enjoys her little restaurant and the customers she serves. There is a variety of pastries, pie, cakes, and Caribbean dishes. If you are in Eastland Mall, or the Southeast side, stop in and you will feel right at home. There is also Wi-Fi Internet hook up.
