If you need someone who is going to be working for you 24/​7, then Lacey and Audra are the agents for you. It was a challenge finding a home in such a competitive market. Some properties went into contract less than 24 hours on the market, but these ladies kept us in the loop when it came to properties that matched our criteria, and if we wanted to schedule a showing, I could contact them any time to make that happen, even when they are on vacation. Responsiveness and professionalism is the name of their game.

Buying a house can be one of the scariest, exhausting and most complicated decisions one has to make. Or so I thought. My partner and I had decided to buy back in February of 2015 and we didn’t even know where to start. A very close friend referred us to Lacey and Audra Wheeler. From the first initial contact, they were immediately on board with helping us discover the world of home buying. We mainly worked with Lacey and right off they bat she was guiding us though this crazy maze of buying our first house. She was incredibly intuitive and really took into consideration, all of our needs. We were so lucky to find Lacey to help us sell our townhouse in the Short North! She saw on the community Block Watch page that we were maybe considering selling soon, and she talked to us very candidly about what to expect (without any pressure to hire her), then she helped us get the ball rolling with photos, flyers, set a perfect price, and our house sold in only 2 DAYS! Then she stayed on top of all the inspections and handyman visits and helped us rest easy that everything was going to be perfect. Not to mention, during the moving chaos, my indoor kitty escaped and she seriously stepped up to the neighborly plate to make sure he got found! They were also very helpful and supportive after going into contract, as I experienced many bumps along the way to close due to the seller and lender. Audra and Lacey are incredible agents. They were very in touch and sensitive to all of my wants and needs even if they changed throughout the process. It was clear that I was a priority that they wanted to see happy, not just a customer. It was all about the little things and attention to detail. Unfortunately for her, Lacey had to deal with me for 6 months in the process of buying the first home. Fortunately for me, I chose Lacey Wheeler to be my realtor. Lacey exceeded every expectation I had, and went SO far beyond my expectations in so many ways. As a first time buyer, buying alone, and being twenty-​something, I knew it was going to be a long process. Lacey was on the ball «tweaking» my search criteria with every little thing I didn’t like about the house before. Condos, houses, two bedroom, four bedroom, north side of town, west side of town, yard for my fur-​baby, pool for me… what can I say, I’m picky and indecisive. Lacey patiently showed me 10+ properties, sometimes driving all over town on a Sunday afternoon to see multiples in a day. She text or email me when she came across something she thought I might be interested, she even took the time to go check out a short sale property to see it would be worth my time. Bless her heart the door was broken into, and she STILL went inside to assess the damage and let me know her honest opinion. When I finally found my home, it was a Thursday at 4pm. Lacey had my offered submitted at 8AM on Friday, and we were signing the purchase agreement on Saturday morning. Because I chose to go with a new build (60 days from completion when I offered) I had many meetings and walk thru’s and orientations… and Lacey was at each one of them asking questions, keeping notes, having my back. Every document that I received from the loan company, Lacey turned into a DocuSign PDF so I didn’t have to print, sign, scan and email back. 4 or 5 taps on my iPhone screen and the mortgage company had their signed documents. I never once, in 6 months, had to wait more than 10 – 15 minutes for a response from Lacey, whether email, text, or phone call. She is responsive, patient, dependable, knowledgable, and she cares. She actually cares about you, and your family and your needs. Lacey is top of the line in her profession… I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell. thanks Lacey!
