Lovely hidden gem of a thrift store with benefits to Cat Welfare!!!
A place to take your no longer wanted items and put them to good use and save kitties lives. Also a great place to find new treasures and possible gift items. Go check it out. Staff very helpful and kind.

You never know what you will find at the Catique! This is a great place for thrifters and really anyone who is decorating their home to stop by. Everything from wall decorations to clothing to china to furniture to tchochkes. And it’s all priced amazingly low. It is definitely worth your time to stop by.

This used to be part of the main Cat Welfare, and though it used to be nice to visit the kitties before shopping the store, it is great that they are now able to house more cats and have a lot more space for the thrift store. While both locations are pretty far for me, one of my coworkers goes quite often so we can bring our donation items to work and have her take them in.
The Catique is a great place to shop for art, especially because a lot of people donate signed original art, prints that are particularly well framed, and everyone here is so helpful that if you are looking for something specific, they will keep an eye out for it and give you a call when it comes in. We were looking for some rather large pieces for our office but not landscapes, not floral, not nudes, not alcohol related, not too conservative, the list of nots when on and on. Found several larger pieces and some smaller groups that happened to be a *not* that we changed our minds on. Really terrific people here, just can’t say enough good things about them or the cause. I will say that this is not a Goodwill, the types of items people donate here are a little bit different and better, so it isn’t bargain basement necessarily but there are some really good deals. If you have fabulous décor items that no longer work for you, please consider donating it to this fine organization, you will get a receipt for your tax deduction and I am looking for some things which hopefully you have! :)

We Thrifters are a special bunch aren’t we? We have our favorite places and we know where to get the best deals. Modern day hunters, we search these discount hunting grounds for that gem of a deal and then we proudly bring home our catch of the day. Now we have a new hunting ground to scour for those deals and steals. It’s called The Catique.
Now don’t let the name fool you. There’s actually very little cat stuff here. They have some clothes (no dressing rooms), a fair amount of knick knacks, home décor and a little furniture and jewelry. While it’s not a huge store, most of what I saw was in very good condition.
They get their merchandise from donations from good hearted people everyday that they are open. The store is run by volunteers three days a week and the profits help offset the cost of housing, feeding, spaying, neutering the 200+ cats and kittens that they care for at Cat Welfare. This thrift also helps offset the cost of adoptions to get cats out of Cat Welfare and into our homes.
I’m all for keeping cats off welfare… how about you?
