History
Established in 2015.
Eldorado Resorts original property, the Eldorado Hotel — Casino in Reno, NV, owned and operated by the Carano family, opened its doors in 1973. Don Carano, patriarch and founder, carved a niche in today’s corporate casino world by stressing family values first. This family spirit is reflected in everything the Eldorado Resorts brand represents — integrity, service and quality. In 1995. it was in this same spirit that The Brew Brothers was born, named for Don’s sons, Gary, Gene, Glenn and Gregg Carano; The Brew Brothers was the first microbrewery to open in a hotel-casino in Nevada. Eldorado Resorts is honored to bring this concept to Scioto Downs Racino in Columbus, Ohio, where the beer tradition lives on.
