History

Established in 2012.

Back in 2012, Jamie Seabolt, founded Seabolt and Co. as a response to a void in the men’s all-​natural skin care base. At that time few, if any, companies were not creating premium quality, high-​performance, easy-​to-​use grooming products for men that we’re naturally derived and free of both harsh chemicals and «fluff». Soon there after women fell in love with their husbands products such as our Face Scrub and Eye Gel — quickly coming in search of their own. As a result in 2013, we added our rein Skin Care line for her.

As our popularity spread and our reputation grew famous, in 2014 we transformed into a Modern Day Apothecary with full service skin care offering. Our Short North location offers Columbus’ only home for all-​natural wax options along with custom blended facials. Our staff is highly trained (having been in the top 3% of their class) and some have even gone on to participate in NY Fashion Week.

Meet the Business Owner

Jamie S.

Business Owner

Jamie has been in the industry for nearly seven years having done some amazing things. He received his start with Origins and quickly worked his way up to Regional Artist.

He transitioned to Smashbox with increased makeup artistry skills before returning to the natural skin care segment with Aveda. After running corporate Aveda retail centers and training for NY’s Fashion Week beside Aveda’s Global Color Director, Jamie went and obtained his Esthetics training from the Aveda Institute. He then partnered with an industry leader to create the local, handmade, all-​natural & organic Seabolt & Co. product line in 2012 with a little touch of historic apothecary practices.

Jamie is also well known for Columbus’ highly successful Red & Rouge makeup workshops throughout the area and has been teaching everyday women how to apply better makeup for nearly 3 years.

Although, like children, Jamie has no «favorite» type of service, he does have a passion for Waxing
