I have known this place was there for several years, but always thought it would be low quality and scary environment. After some coaxing by some friends in the area, I finally joined them at Save-​a-​lot. Each time I have shopped there I have found good prices, courteous service and quality products. I would compare them to Aldi but with more name brands and similar pricing.

Wonderful friendly place for groceries near downtown Columbus! The prices are very close to Aldi, however Save A Lot takes credit cards and has much more variety. The environment here is much calmer than the notorious Kroger near Bexley and the vibe here is much less chaotic and safer. They have a substantial produce department and a good sized meat and seafood area. This store is a oasis in a food desert! I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Save a Lot takes Apple pay as well!

Would be nice if they actually had something on the shelves. Everytime I go there they have nothing on the shelf. Save your time and go somewhere else
