I came from out of town for a few days. Took a walk to check out the local thrift and consignment shops. Coming from Boston, I have access to a lot of 2nd hand clothing because of transience aka I can be judgey.
Love the décor, draws you right in. I like the way that the jewelry displays included magazines. Such unique pieces, great prices. Easy pay system. If I’m ever in the area I’ll definitely return. Hope I find something similar in BOS.

So thankful that I was aimlessly wandering around short north and decided to stop in. This place has unique clothing options for any occasion for great prices. I love the mixture of clothing in here as well. There is also a ton of jewelry from different local designers there as well at great prices. The store manager had said they generally get new things in every few weeks and sometimes the local designers only makes the style once and that’s it, so you know you will be the only one owning it!
For men– they have a small section in the back that has columbus/​ohio themed clothing along with vintage like jackets/​shirts etc!
Great spot, I will be sure to stop in every once in a while to check out the new assortments.

Stopped by here while I was wandering through Short North. I’ve passed by this shop many times, but never really bothered to stop in (that changed today when I saw a cute romper that I wanted to buy… and would have bought if they had it in my size — more on this later).
They offer a wide variety of styles and designs, and the prices are very reasonable (think along the lines of F21 or H&M). Even better, they have super cute jewelry at very low prices. I got a pair of adorable gold feather earrings for only $ 3, and I’m strongly leaning towards going back so that I can pick up a few other pairs of earrings that I’d been considering (but didn’t buy at the time).
My main gripe is that they’re pretty limited in their sizes. They only order a few of each size for each design, and typically don’t re-​order. So… if you see a dress/​shirt you like and they’re out of your size? Tough luck — you’re probably not getting it. They’re also pretty limited in their smaller sizes, so a lot of the items that caught my eye, I wasn’t able to buy because they just didn’t have my size (either they didn’t have a small, or their small was still pretty big).
In conclusion, good prices, nice variety, but be prepared to find a lot of clothes are out of your size. Four stars because they have absolutely adorable and super cheap jewelry, but definitely considered dinging them for the lack of sizes.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME RANGE !!!
I’ve been in America for 5 months now and this is the best shop I’ve done so far by far ! I was limited for time as well but as soon as I walked in I knew I couldn’t leave without something from this awesome store. Their clothing is unique and so different ! I think I was in there for half an hour and spent $ 100 happily on two pairs of insane jeans and a beautiful dress !
I’m inlove ! This store is a MUST !

Good selection of vintage clothing/​accessories/​items & new stuff. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Bought a shirt for $ 20 and a pair of vintage earrings for $ 5. No complaints (even with the price difference)

I stopped in after seeing George Y.‘s review and realizing this was just up the street. I’d always passed by it before not really knowing what it was, but I was rather impressed! This is a great place to look for vintage clothing at a bargain price! There are entire racks of skirts, dresses, tops, and some menswear in the back area of the store. It’s not as extensive as the selection in the basement of Flower Child, but it’s definitely somewhere you’ll want to check if you’re on a budget.

Just kind of stumbled into this shop while leaving Brother’s Drake. I was reluctant as my fiancé spotted it, but what the hell, it was a beautiful night to be out walking.
I’m not much for shopping, but I do enjoy buying local and seeing what independent designers can create with apparel. So it was great exploring the shop, their shirts, jackets, accessories. Fun stuff. I myself found a shirt, created by a local Columbus apparel company, that expressed my appreciation for living in Cbus. My fiancé bought a vintage bracelet and almost bought some hip, playful eyeglasses. She decided against it as the curvature of the lens made her a little dizzy.
Nonetheless, the employees/​owners are really friendly, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable about their product.
Like I said at the top, we will be back.

I’ve only been here a few times but each time I go it feels more like exploring than shopping. It’s so fun to discover local designers, vintage finds and new trendy stuff all in one location. The shop owner is so friendly and knowledgeable about what she’s offering and doesn’t seem to mind the browsers (which I tend to be). I snagged a great pair of new boots here last year for only $ 25 (on sale) and it seems like her prices are always determined very fairly to the product being sold. Local designs tend to be a bit higher, but they should be.
Overall this place is great and a fitting tenant on the Short North High Street strip. Kinda humorous Royal Factory is directly across from American Apparel. Buy an actual vintage sweater from RF for $ 30 or less ooooor a brand new made to look trendy vintage sweater from AA for $ 80?

You know what? I like this place and want it to do well. Having felt incomplete without some bangles, I got a nice bundle of ‘em for $ 5 at Royal Factory yesterday *and* they were *exactly* what I’d been seeking!
Some other interesting objects I found here include a necklace with the «pixelated» Apple Computer logo, a somewhat «old» Five for Fighting button pin, and a Poor Pete wind-​up toy. («Poor Pete» is an antique piece of Black Americana that, despite its ignorant and offensive embodiment of a racial stereotype, possesses much cultural and historical significance.)
At Royal Factory, I’ve found the store’s particular mix of old with new – as well as of fashion with rare collctibles – quite alluring. So with that said, I’d like to drop by again during the next Gallery Hop. :-)
