Roosters use to be really good. Not so much anymore… The food sucks. Cold wings and a hot salad, it really doesn’t make since. I will never go back!

Best wings in town! Pizza isn’t bad and the sides are mostly decent with very affordable prices.

So I guess this place is known for their wings, however I do not partake in the consumption of animal flesh so my review will based on the options for my vegetarian brothers and sisters. And there is not much, and what they do have is subpar. Stay away from the vegetarian burger, I think it is a microwaved boca burger. The veggie sub might be your best bet, but you can easily make that at home and for way less money. The only reason I give the restaurant 3 stars is because they have a decent beer selection for a cookie cutter sports bar, and the location is convenient.

My husband and I have an unhealthy obsession with wings, like we eat them at least once a week(always after a long workout, of course!). 90% we get our wings here! It is within walking distance, but even if we had to drive, we would still choose this place! Wings, fries, salads, beer selection, it’s all good… see you in a couple of days, Rooster’s!

I’ve been here multiple times. It’s right down the street from where I stay. Always friendly service. Some great beer specials for great prices! The wings are amazing here. They have a good number of tv’s for viewing your favorite sport team. In a very nice location. Safe and clean. Parking can be a little annoying but overall the device I get here is why I keep coming back to this specific location!

Go ahead and strut German Village Roosters. The food is always great here. Little tight inside but gives the place character. A whole lot of food for not a whole lot of money. Man those wings.

My friends make fun of me because I love this place so much — like«cater my wedding» love it. Wings can be done a million ways and everyone has their own preference so it’s useless to say they’re the best. BUT in the breaded category — yep they’re the best. They’re huge! Always extra saucy. Flavor list isn’t small but also not overwhelming. The standard levels of heat are all great, and the Carolina Gold and Chipotle are 2 of my favorites that many other popular wing stops are missing. Continuing in the chicken zone… the boneless wings are really good size — not«chunked» or shaped from a tube, and the chicken fingers WHOA also huge. 2 fingers can be a meal. The pizzas are personal size, but very good. Each topped with a wing BONUS! The apps list are all awesome hangover snacks while you’re waiting for your bloody mary to arrive. The dumpster sauce served with fries & wedges is special to the house and has a great zest. Tuesdays are $ 1 night for the featured app of the week — all great options! Now moving onto the most important part of why I love Roosters, especially the German Village location — GAMEDAYYY!!! IMO the best spot of anywhere to watch sports. If I’m going to be bound down anywhere for 4+ hours pounding beers, they better be on special and they always are! — cheap. And keep the apps coming during your long hours of Keno — you can afford both because everything is SOAFFORDABLE!(and remember, good too). All of the above I’m ranting about is available for easy carryout too from all locations. I probably take it home weekly outside of football season. Be aware though, the German Village location is tiny. Though more intimate than the others, which is why it tends to be so much more interactive for games. You see the regulars, but it’s a good neighborhood vibe that’s welcoming to everyone — kids and families too! Lives up to its name… a FUNCASUALJOINT!

Wow. This place had the best breaded fried chicken wings I ever tasted. I got 10 wings and the wings were so good. They were big, i was full at 7. I had the hot garlic butter sauce. So good. All the other food my family and friends ordered look delicious also. If you ever in the Columbus, Ohio area, make sure you stop by Roosters! You wont be disappointed.

Make sure to check your to-go before you leave. It’s a problem for me every time. Other than that it’s decent.

I really like this roosters! It’s a smaller nice staff with good greasy hangover sunday football food. Get the wings extra crispy and super killers if you like it hot!

This is a good place to stop in if you want wings and you live in the German/Merion Village area. It’s just a go to place for us to watch the games and have some wings, but not our favorite. I have encountered a few times some bad choices in wing sauces. Sometimes it has seemed that they are dried out once they are served. Everyone has been friendly and good service(nothing special or bad). As I said, we will probably be back just because wing options are limited in the area, but not because it’s at the top of our list.

I always come here cause I live right down the street and always have a fun service whether it’s for takeout or dine in. Take out is fast and descent for cost. Check it out if you like city style restaurants.

A decent location, though I was much happier with the Grove City location. I’m not sure if it was the man in me noticing the less attractive waitresses in comparison, or it was my dip into the nacho cheese sauce that tasted like Great Value, but either way, we weren’t thoroughly impressed. Roosters, at it’s core, is a less franchised and more local feeling Hooters.

I eat here more often than I should. But really if I want wings and don’t want to leave German Village where do I turn? For a long time I hated Roosters wings. It was sort of a trial and error process, but now have a standard order that’s pretty good, but still can’t compete with great wing. Hot Garlic — all drumsticks. Everything else I’ve tried has been bad. But stick with this and you’ll satisfy your wings craving. But the place is never packed, pretty quick and friendly enough. I prefer carryout and it’s a not option to have.

This place reminds me of Hooters without the girls in orange spandex. The walls are lined with light-colored wood, there are TVs everywhere, and they specialize in wings. If you like Hooters, then you’ll like Roosters. If you don’t like Hooters… well, you’re a bit of a snob. The wings are delicious. Really big, meaty wings with tons of sauce and tons of breading, just the way I like them. The fries are tasty too. The service was kinda crappy, but I don’t really expect great service from wing joints. The beer list isn’t anything to write home about, but, again, wing place. All in all, this is a good place to hang out with friends during a game and eat some really good wings.

Pretty excellent little spot. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this local chain, and I was not disappointed. The service was very friendly, and the food was hot and tasty. Went there for lunch on a Saturday, and there were some good specials going on too. Definitely some of the better wings I’ve had in Columbus.

We tried to order ahead, they did not let us. I orderes 10 boneless wings, Killer sauce, the 2nd spiciest sauce. Sauce was OK, Not ultra hot like I imagined. Wings we super salty. They say they are award winners. I don’t know which contest. My lips are chipped because how spicy they were. You want Blue cheese? That’s extra. Want Celery sticks? Extra. WTF? The whole admosphere is nice. Waitress was very helpful and nice.

It’s hard to complain about a casual joint that boasts amazeballs chicken wings and a hearty beer selection. It’s a great game-watching spot! I love the curly fries(though they’re usually a bit under-salted for my taste). Service is a bit slow, but has never been annoyingly so. Parking can be a pain, but hey, that’s German Village for ya.

Everything about this place, from the cooks to the food to the service to the décor to the condition of the actual menus, is gross. If you want wings there are exponentially better wing options within spitting distance of roosters(Jimmy V’s, Club 185, Max & Erma’s), at a better price and served by friendlier staff, in a cleaner, more pleasant environment.

For a tiny, crowded restaurant on a Saturday night, I was impressed by how well our waitress managed to keep track of us. The wings were substantial in size and the sauce(spicy Thai chili — omg, try it) was so so good. I wasn’t a huge fan of the batter on the fried pickles, but my boyfriend loved them. I’m pretty picky, so to each their own. I’m not in this part of town very often, but I can definitely see myself stopping in here again for the food. And the beers, of course.

This location is quaint and cute. If you are looking to watch a big game, get there early as the place is fairly small. Prices are great, food is great & they have plenty of TV’s for the game. Even have Keno which is a huge plus for me! :) During NFL season they have $ 1.95 Bud Light pints during the game & Monday’s are wing night!

I am not a wing expert by any means, but, I truly believe that Roosters has some pretty outstanding wings. Not only are the wings great, but, the chicken strips(naked or fried) are pretty amazing too. My favorite thing on the menu is the Red, Bacon and Blue salad! The dressing is awesome and you can add chicken strips to it… Yum! I usually hit Roosters for lunch(free wi-fi) and love that I can bring my computer for entertainment if I go solo. I also have been picking up take out lately… When I need a greasy fix on a Sunday night and don’t feel like sitting down for dinner… I order some wings from Roosters. Roosters is a great neighborhood joint to drink a few beers, watch a game and just relax with friends. The service is pretty good and the atmosphere is pretty standard for a GV restaurant bar… A good mix of locals and visitors. The one thing that does bother me… You have to ask for Blue Cheese with your wings and I believe they charge $ 1 for each container. Also, people complain about the parking… Its German Village people! You may have to walk a whole block.
