Rooms for Less

After going to American Freight and Furniture land and getting refunds for poor customer service, unprofessionalism and honestly just people who blatantly lie, I went to Rooms For Less as my last resort. I was extremely skeptical as I had the bad experiences at the other places. They had the exact bed set and dresser I was looking for. The staff was helpful. The prices were definitely fair compared to the other two places who were charging me a lot more the the exact same product and American Freight and a poorer quality product at Furniture Land. I bought it that day, we set up a delivery day and time, and, shockingly it was delivered and set up just when they said it would be. The delivery guys were very nice and experienced.
As a single woman who is not at all street savvy or smart when it comes to this type of thing, I would definitely recommend Rooms For Less. They are professional, very helpful, were very honest with me, and did’t sell me lies. I had a great experience.

Worst expierence ever with buying furniture. I purchased a king size mattress from here, the Sales rep made a phone call on his cell and told us the mattress was in stock in the warehouse and that they could deliver next day — great! The next day they delivered the wrong mattress. We went back into the store the next day and told them that they delivered the wrong one (they sent us the cheapest king mattress they had) the rep apologized and said he would call the warehouse and let them know to deliver the correct bed and that he would call me the next day. Next day… no phone call… day after that, no phone call. I called on the third day and he begins to tell me that they have NO king mattress in stock! Huh??? He said he was going to order a better one for us and eat the difference — he gave me a 100% guarantee that the correct bed would be delivered to us by that Thursday or Friday. Well… Thursday comes and goes and then Friday at 4pm we call and ask were our mattress is… he tells us it was never shipped to the warehouse. It’s one thing that they lied about having the bed and then not ordering the bed but the lack of courtesy and communication/​customer service from the sales rep was terrible! We asked to for a full refund but that didn’t make up for the 4 times we drove out there and 2 weeks lost of finding a mattress for our room.

This Morse Road store certainly has furniture for low-​ish prices, but some of their stock isn’t anything different than you could pick up at Wal-​Mart or Meijer. In fact, I’d argue that much of those latter stores’ furniture selection would be a good bit hipper than what you’d find here.
Overall, this is a disappointing store. If you’re desperate for cheap furniture, there are better, cooler and even cheaper options around town.
