Ready Steak Go

We order from here ALL the time! I always get the steak tips, the mushrooms and onions are so good. We sometimes get wings– Which are amazing! All of the sides are pretty great and their sweet tea is definitely sweet. Don’t let appearances fool you. It’s attached to a gas station, so it looks sketchy but the food is really great and the people have always been nice. I haven’t done delivery since we live pretty close, but I call in and pick up in their drive through. Super easy. I took away one star, because a couple of time times the food has been overly salted and they maybe forgot the side salad once or twice.

Despite being located next to a gas station, the food was really good and the service was exceptional. I got the ribeye and my wife got the steak tips with mushrooms and onions. Highly recommended!

My family has been telling me about this gem and now I know for myself!!! Yum, Yum!!!

What a great find. Standing beside a gas station, across the street from our hotel is this gem. My family and I had dinner here twice because it was that good. We all a sampled different items, and were a hit. From the country fried steak with brown gravy, to a super thick and juicy burger to the steak salad. Everything was great here. See you in three weeks for our son’s graduation from FT. Benning.

This place may be attached to a gas station but it is amazing! I had the smothered chicken and it was delicious! The Jones family restaurants have never disappointed me before and I can add this one to the list as one of my favorites. What I really like is that they deliver! It’s hard to find a place with food this good that delivers!

I Love this place! BEST LEMON PEPPER WINGS and ribeye steaks you can find at a To Go type place. I pick up our favorite wings on the way home when I’ve worked too late to cook. :)

I have yet to get a meal that I didn’t like. I love the that I can get a good meal delivered and so happy to see that they are now open on Sunday’s. When you want take-​out but don’t want pizza this is the place to call!!!

So the food was ehhh. The food was so. salty and my medium rare was more like well done.

The wings. That’s all you need to know. Some of the best in town. When we are feeling lazy we just call ahead and pick them up to go.

Steak tips and chicken tips are great — include mushrooms and onions. I love the Tuesday Special smothered chicken — for $ 8 you get a chicken breast smothered in tangy BBQ sauce, cheese, and bacon, 1 side and a drink. Mark always goes the extra mile with quality in all his restaurants, and that goes the same for here. Even the bacon bits are cooked fresh and the mashed potatoes are made with real cream.

The food was good but nothing to talk about. Had the Buffaloe chicken sandwich and it was just boring but flavor ok. The steak tips were good. The pasta seemed a little pre done and then just baked.

I have eaten Wings all over Columbus, and these wings may very well be the best! Big olé’ fat ones! Their Saturday night special is unbeatable, and the prices are crazy good!

Great quality of food, same as most of Mark’s places. Sometimes my meat was not cooked appropriately which is my only negative. Other than that, you can get literally the exact same items as at Hunters Pub, but even cheaper and you don’t have to hike up 185.

Whoa, this food is good!
Stopped in here one weekend with my good friend and his wife to grab some food while we hung out and watched movies. I used to live at the apartment complex literally right across Williams Rd. from this place, and it wasn’t there back then.
I will just say — they would’ve known me by NAME if this place had been there back then. I got a steak and cheese sub to satisfy a craving, and it was outstanding. Green beans were good, sweet tea was good too. Definitely would go back if I was ever in Columbus. The gas station next door is still just as grimy and disgusting as it was when I lived in Columbus 4 years ago, but this place is really good. And they apparently deliver!

Great option for delivery. Love the burgers. Stay away from the chicken or fish entrees. Tried those a few times and they are always overcooked.

The food was much better then I expected. I had the hamburger steak and it had great seasoning and was not bland. The price was a good value for a full meal with a salad. The staff was great to deal with from the girl taking my order, to talking with the manager. I without a doubt will eat there again when I pass through.

This place is awesome. I got the chicken tips with onions (but without mushrooms), the house potatoes, and mashed potatoes for my sister. The chicken tips were cooked perfectly and tasted great. The house potatoes were quite good as well, though they could use a little less salt. I also tried the mashed potatoes, which were delicious, however, they could also use less salt. The roll was good, though nothing special. And the sweet tea is some of the best around.
Their website is very professional looking, which I appreciate, and they have online ordering and they deliver within a certain radius. Sadly, I don’t live close enough to have it delivered even though it’s one of the closest restaurants to my house. At least it’s not that bad to drive to. I definitely recommend this place, as well as the owner’s other restaurants (Hunter’s Pub, The Black Cow, Aspen Grill, etc.).
Also know that this place is more so centered around take-​out, but you can eat inside as there are a few tables to sit at.
Update: I just want to say that this place is consistently good. I’ve eaten here at least 10 times now and it never fails to impress.
