Purrfessional Pet Services has been servicing the greater Columbus area for over 6 years. The owner, Lizza DeChant, as well as her associate are currently employed at the première cat hospital in Columbus and have extensive experience with dogs, cats and exotics.

The staff is proficient in administering medications, insulin, subcutaneous fluids and whatever else your pet needs, including all the pampering they deserve. We are passionate and responsible in all that we do, and animal care has been and always will be a cornerstone of our lives.

We have 4 dogs, 3 large and 1 small. They are our children in the truest sense of the word. They sleep with us, lounge on the couch, and are never alone for more than 4 – 5 hours. I set clear expectations with Lizza of their lifestyle and how we wanted them to be cared for. She took two hours of her time (unpaid) to come over and meet the dogs while touring our house and learning our routine before we left. She did a fantastic job needless to say. The house was clean, the dogs were happy and had clearly been loved. We have used other pet sitters and it becomes obvious when we get home that the dogs were left alone too long and the house wasn’t picked up. That wasn’t the case with Lizza at all. I would highly recommend Lizza and found her to be refreshingly upbeat, trustworthy, and dedicated. Passionate also comes to mind when I think of how she handled herself. We are appreciative to have found her.

We hire Lizza for all our short & long trips away from home. We have two dog and two cats. She is trustworthy and reliable. A special bonus is the fact that she works in veterinary services. That really puts us at ease if our pets have any medical emergencies. Purrfessional is the best and we highly recommend her!

I left for a long weekend, and Lizza came to my house and stayed with my dog, Barley. I have boarded Barley once before with a typical boarding place in town, and when I came to pick her up, she seemed different & stressed out. It took a few days for Barley to get back to her normal self.
This was not the case AT ALL with Lizza. In fact, Barley seemed happier! She must have gotten lots of walks and plenty of play time. In addition, Lizza sent me pics of Barley while I was away. I LOVED that! I recommend Lizza wholeheartedly and I already have plans to use her again in a month!
