Business Owner
Born and raised in the Columbus, Ga. area, restaurateur and chef, Mark Jones, is no stranger to the restaurant business. Jones planted his roots in the business from the very beginning — taking part in everything from washing dishes in the kitchen to learning customer service while working beside his mother, Kay Jones, in their series of family-owned restaurants throughout the Columbus, Ga. area. Jones opened his first restaurant in 1998 — Hunters Pub and Steakhouse, located in Hamilton, Ga. Soon following, Jones opened Aspen’s Mountain Grill (2001), Mark’s City Grill (2009), The Black Cow (2010), PHILLY– osophy (2011), Ready Steak GO (2012), Plucked Up Chicken & Biscuits (2014) and his latest Flip Side Burgers & Tacos (2014).
