Lots of options to craft your perfect sandwich. Relatively inexpensive, and open late!

I really like coming here. They are always open and they have the best pitas. It is relatively inexpensive which is another reason it is among my favorites on campus. It is very vegetarian friendly with selections that include falafel. This time I ordered a falafel pita with the secret sauce, which is a spicy vinaigrette. I thought the falafel was crispy and flavorful. This place is better than Apollos without costing that much more. I was satisfying filled after eating my pita. There is not much seating inside so I always order takeout.

By far my favorite fast food on campus. Food tastes fresh and healthy, delivery is always quick, and the pitas are always packed. Cheap but always fills me up. I’ve never had a bad experience with Pita Pit(and I get it a lot).

the food was okay, and they were nice in some suggestions but the lady that made my food also picked up the phone while making my food. I don’t really like my food contaminated but I was hungry enough to eat it…

Always a pleasure coming in here, and I find myself doing so quite frequently despite a range of choices on campus. Food is great, cheap, and VERY filling. Everything tastes really fresh and the people who work there are very friendly. The place itself is nothing to write home about, but it’s comfortable enough to study in between classes.

Good place for lunch. I have nothing to complain about pita pit. Your pita comes with hummus or avacado for free and the pita is filling. A healthy quick place to eat on high street. You can add condiments, toppings for free as well. Pita pit is nothing amazing that you have to try but being an osu student I will gladly be here again.

Nothing to complain about. The food tastes amazing and it’s relatively inexpensive. Great place to get delivery from when you’re looking for something good to eat at night. I ordered the Philly steak, and it was great! For under $ 10(which includes delivery charge), my philly steak pita definitely filled my empty stomach. My only reason complaint is about the can of sprite that they gave me. I would’ve preferred a bottle, but that’s just a petty complaint.

I’ve had Pita Pit probably a good handful of times and each time the food has been great. Not too expensive and the food is filling. We do sometimes get weird looks from the people who work there when we ask for a can of coke. Like they are going out of their way to grabbing us one.

I have a serious soft spot for Pita Pit because it was a fixture of my undergrad life. Until this visit, I probably hadn’t had it in a few years, but it was just as tasty and decently priced as I remembered. My favorite items on the menu are probably the roast beef and the chicken souvlaki. I’ve tried a few of the other options, but those two stand out as the most delicious to me. I did feel like this location was a bit cramped, but the service was good and the food was tasty, so it’s all good for me.

I have been dying to try a chain pita restaurant. I visited during a weekend lunch, and I discovered that it’s a «build-you-own» pita roll, kind of like a burrito, except it’s a pita wrap. This particular location caters to college students. I just happened to be in the area and wanted to try something different. Their menu boasts several varieties of pita sandwiches and wraps. Everything is under $ 10, so it’s very low cost for a quick bite. They offer beef and lamb, chicken, vegetarian, and new creations such as turkey and forest ham. Some of their vegetarian options include newer mixtures such as spicy black bean or greens with ranch dressing. They even have breakfast pitas! Typical choices include steak and eggs. Ooh, I wish they could open one where I live. I am aware that this isn’t the most authentic place for Mediterranean food, but I really like this place. I ordered the lamb and beef pita. Then I built it with my choice veggies and dressed it with some yogurt. They gave me the option to grill the veggies, but I decided to keep it raw. My pita tasted deliciously healthy because the onions brought out the flavor of the meat. If you’re looking for a healthier meal, definitely come here. I would definitely go here again!

A great option if you are looking to cut your calories down and still have a great meal. The prices are reasonable too. The ingredients taste fresh and they have a wide variety of sauces to add. Only place where you can get an awesome Philly Steak sandwich and still keep it under 600 calories.

Stopped into Pita Pit today and ordered a chicken souvlaki pita, and I must say I’ve been missing out not coming here so far. It is definitely one of the better options to eat along high street if you’re looking for a quick meal. All of the ingredients were fresh, except the romaine looked a little wilted so I avoided that. They offer to grill mushrooms, peppers, and onions for your pita along with the meat at no charge which I gladly took them up on! The chicken in the pita was moist and had good flavor, and all the vegetables tasted as they should as well. At $ 6.75 for a the pita it wasn’t super cheap but not outrageous either; the pita is decent size. This is definitely a good option if you’re looking for something quick to grab/deliver to you, you can customize your pita as you desire, it’s pretty healthy, and the workers were very pleasant.

Sorry if my last review was harsh… I love this place and I asked for WAY too many sauces. You guys were great and speedy and it was delish. I was in a bad funk then.

Alright. I am originally an Ohioan. I eat at the Pita Pit in Fargo, ND nearly weekly. Sure it is a «college dive,» but this place is a dumpster. No wheat pitas and they don’t steam their pita bread either. The avocado and hummus were .75 for each additional. The cups for water looked like they had been gnawed on during the Virginia Tech loss last weekend during some angry post game beer pong. Needless to say I will not be back to this Pita Pit location. In the words of Kid President, OSU and Pita Pit, «You’re gooder than that.».

I LOVE the Pita Pit. This is another of my typical staple food places in my Cbus days. I would always get the turkey pita with banana peppers, jalapenos, spinach, honey mustard, on a whole wheat pita. This place has never let me down. I crave it so much in Cleveland but I can never get it due to the nearest location being in Kent. They need to get a Cleveland location ASAP.

I love healthy food so this place is one of my go-to’s for a quick light meal. They have a great assortment of fresh veggies and spreads that you can’t find everywhere including sprouts, avocado spread, and hummus. I recommend the Spicy Black Bean Wrap with Chipotle Sauce. it is AMAZING!!! My other favorite is the Chicken Souvlaki with their special sauce. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is any breakfast wrap that includes egg. It is a pre-cooked egg patty thing… sketcchyyy. I wish there were more of these around. So much better than Subwaay!

Pros: Cheap, healthy alternative, delivery Cons: Extremely slow delivery, some of the ingredients are not that fresh I order pita pit pretty regularly since they deliver. Most places on campus only deliver pizza, wings or subs. For people who are watching their weight, this is the best option for food delivery. That being said, the delivery takes forever. The last three times I have ordered it has taken over an hour and a half each time. The quality of the food is pretty good. I get the pita filled with veggies, chicken and hummus spread. I’ve had pitas that have questionable lettuce(it was brown) and chewy chicken. Overall, the food experience is pretty good. For a healthy $ 6 delivery dinner, Pita Pit can’t be beat.

I’ve been begging people to tell me about good food around Clintonville that isn’t too expensive. Pita Pit comes up frequently as one of the places we needed to try. So we did. We got 4 sandwiches — gyro, schwarma, chicken, and falafel — a large hummus and some fries. The food was OK. It’s not great by any means. It’s not horrible either. But darn it if I’m not frustrated by how a decidedly average place is in the upper echelons of food options not far from my house. Arg! Gyro was bland and disappointing — still haven’t found a good one in Columbus(please recommend!). The schwarma and chicken were OK — decent flavor, pickled stuff adds a nice texture/flavor change-up. The falafel was the best of the choices — not overly dry, pretty tasty. The fries were good! Hummus was pretty good. It’s OK, but looking for better.

Pita Pit is quickly becoming my favorite afternoon-or-late-night food stop in Columbus. Aside from super cool employees and management, Pita Pit offers similar ingredients that Chipotle has, but with greater selection and lower price. After being diagnosed with Addison’s disease, Ive had to find healthy food options. Chipotle bowls have fit my no-sugar, no-sugar, no-carb diet until I realized Pita Pit was better and cheaper. For just 7.25, I can get a grilled chicken salad with romaine lettuce, spinach, tomato, babaganoosh, alf alfa sprouts, double green peppers, grilled onions, red onions banana peppers, jalapeño peppers, guacamole, and«secret sauce.» With late night hours till 3am and 4am, delivery options, and location on North High, I’ll bet this is the healthiest and most affordable place to eat on OSU campus.

Finally I made it to the Pita Pit, putting it off thinking its too healthy and hippy for my men. Turns out both said thanks to me for taking them and liked their food, alot! I had the falafel with everything plus sauteed veggies, guacamole, pesto and honey mustard and tsatziki on the side. All of it was awesome, really very good, except the tsatziki was only greek yogurt, no garlic or cucumber. Oh well, the rest I’m in love with, always enjoy a new spin on something thats been done. My son had the turkey, ham and bacon with BBQ which was also very good. My husband had a philly steak and a ham and chicken, he raved about it being good meat, grilling the veggies and ham makes all the difference and he said the chicken was great and thats one of the things he usually hates everywhere we go. The prices are fair, the kids working more than helpful and even the cookies are descent. Good find, I could see myself coming back here for sure.
