I love paper stores, and stationery. So much! But being just a paper store, or a stationery store, isn’t going to get you a five star in my book. Paper can be boring. Pens can too. But not here! It’s like, the people who put this store together said«Let’s make a paper and stationery store that’s as awesome as we possibly can!» And then someone else on the committee said«Yeah, but how can we make paper fun?» This store was their answer. First, I have to say they do a great job with both the quality and the variety of paper. This is a specialty/boutique shop, so you’re going to find fun, quirky stuff. Cards, paper, pens, novelty items and calendars. One reason it’s a five star in my mind is because it feels like the opposite of a corporate Hallmark-style store. The stock isn’t commodity. There’s a unique look and a feel to each sheet. When you buy something here, you know you’re getting something special. Yes, it’s a big pricey, but then again, you totally get what you pay for. Higher quality card stock, embossed, letter pressed, unique designs, hand-stamped. These are things you won’t find at Hallmark, and people who receive these items, or things made with these items, will know you took the time to shop for higher quality stuff. Also, this is a place you really need to physically go in to check out. I can only describe awesome, high-quality paper, cards, calendars and stationery to a point. The experience of this store is visceral, and those of you who really care about texture and quality, will want to explore. You walk in, you get a friendly greeting. I like that. It’s not always appropriate or appreciated in other stores, but here, it feels natural. And the staff really enjoy working here, and care about the products, and educating people about what makes the products superior. Although they don’t currently carry Papyrus cards(yet?), I can say if you’re into that level of quality and attention to detail, this store is on-par with that. They also have a decent scrapbooking selection, invitation cards, and gift wrapping galore. If you care about the presentation of your presents, you’ll love the selection of ribbons, tissue paper, and wrapping paper. Wow! So overall, this is the rare paper store that I get excited about visiting regularly. They change up the stock, the decorations(there are cute decorations everywhere!), and freshen things up regularly enough that I always find something new when I go in. Plus, their logo is a bee!

I love this store as well since I’m into scrapbooking, so the paper is great for it. It has papers for every occasion and being a Jewish person, some for my holiday’s as well. I have gone to Michael’s and they rarely carry Jewish holiday scrapbooking paper, I don’t think it’s because they are biased or anything but they have a bigger demand for the other ones. I also appreciate the fact I can find nice cards for holidays in which I celebrate. I rarely can find a very nice card in all of Columbus of Jewish holidays or events. They are all so simple and not very creative like this stores. This store has a knack for creativity. It’s the simple things you appreciate when a store is so creative and has so much supplies and nick knacks you are looking for. Despite the prices for some of the supplies, I would come here often if I could afford it. I would be thinking of creative things every time to make and bring to the table.

This store is fantastic. A little bit Papyrus, a little bit Michaels, a little scrapbook store and yet somehow unique from any of these stores. They sell a wide assortment of speciality papers, invitations, cards, paper craft items and so much more. They are super knowledgable about their products and are happy to give demos. It was hard not to spend way more money there on my first visit but I am certain that I will be back soon.
